Welp there’s the arguments I was looking for (gonna account for that when I set up the blog)
 
I find it funny that only Kusakabe, Yuta and Hakari are the only people to be hit by a "serious" Gojo (obviously not full strength but had a cursed tech imbued).

Yuta and Hakari I can understand, but I wonder what the reason for Kusakabe was to get hit with it.

I think he used the punch to test his SD auto counter stuff. I don't think he took the punch directly lol.

Also I don't think Gojo hit them seriously idk

He didn't build him up. We've gotten several mentions and showings of old characters already, it's merely showing how they turned out.
I would be disappointed if after Yuta's speech about Gojo being used as a weapon and how it shouldn't be that way, and about how people should live alongside one another instead of cursing each other, Gege goes and throws Yuji back in a life he clearly is done with.
The manga has been about talking through the issues, Yuji would be great for that, but not for fighting cuz that's genuinely the last thing he wants.
