Barry and Jennifer meet on different sides of court in the case of Mr. Sansweet

In circa 1950, Oliver Sansweet tries to jump from the top of a building and before he could, Mr. Incredible jumped from the building and saved him mid-air, but when they landed in the other building, Mr. Incredible has unfortunately hurt his neck, not by his will.

The US government secretly pays Barry to defend Mr. Incredible, and Jennifer represents Mr. Sansweet's defense
Both have plain access to evidences and etc, and 1 week to prepare

The thing is Barry isn’t really a lawyer and he doesn’t really know much about the law itself. He had a good chance with the case because it was just proving that bees are people too and… he was a bee, so he immediately had a really good case.

I can’t see him actually working super well on a case like this. A lot of his tactics were like, shock tactics in the court room (he brought in an actual bear lol). There’s not a lot of mic drop moments he can have in the court

he is actually a lawyer, he both graduated (in 9 days lol) and started working as so by the end of the movie
yeah, he usually defends animals, but he's got a week to prepare and the case is quite weird for the prosecution, cuz their trying to frame a superhero as a bad person for saving someone who was attempting suicide lmao. With a week to prepare, i really think he can pull shock tactics off or adhere to other strategies

Much ironically, both of them resort to show tactics, exposing loudly and (at least in SH's case an attempt of) charismatically
SH usually tries to make off-court deals to end the situations too, iirc

I watched the Bee Movie once in a car years ago, did Barry demonstrate any specific skills that would one-up Jen?

he beat one of the most famous lawyers in US (iirc) by using his law school lessons he learned by (even with him being as intelligent as a human being) 9 days of study that got him to complete it lol
