Wuthering waves upgrade SoL attack speed

Disclaimer first:
Wuthering Waves is an RPG with a strong sci-fi genre, which means it consistently uses real-world physics terminology as its basis.
Now let’s talk about Spectro.
The term Spectro is clearly derived from spectrum, more specifically theelectromagnetic spectrum. The electromagnetic spectrum refers to the full range of electromagnetic radiation frequencies, which includes radio waves, television signals, radar waves, invisible light, X-rays, and gamma rays. All electromagnetic waves propagate at the speed of light in a vacuum (c), approximately 299,792,458 m/s.
Going back to Resonators:
A Resonator is an individual who resonates with a specific phenomenon. Since our focus is Spectro, we’ll limit the discussion to Spectro Resonators. Spectro Resonators are consistently associated with light manipulation.
Examples:
Jinhsi is stated to control and project intense light.
Phoebe is capable of manifesting light directly.
Lynae (upcoming) manipulates light to create different colors.

If we categorize them within the electromagnetic spectrum:
Jinhsi = Gamma rays / X-rays
Phoebe = Visible light
Lynae = Visible light & ultraviolet
From this, it becomes clear that Spectro corresponds directly to the electromagnetic spectrum. Since Wuthering Waves uses real scientific terminology, and electromagnetic radiation universally travels at light speed in a vacuum, this supports the conclusion that Spectro-based attacks inherently operate at light speed.

Conclusion:
Spectro Resonators especially characters like Phoebe, Jinhsi, and Rover can reasonably be argued to possess attack speeds at least at the Speed of Light (SoL).

disagree, just because the light user's name is related to light doesn't mean the light is legitimately lightspeed

using naming conventions
This isn’t about naming conventions it’s about a consistent in-game representation that links Spectro with light and electromagnetic phenomena

I’m not making this claim just because the name sounds similar. In-game, Spectro is consistently shown to be connected to electromagnetic spectrum phenomena. I already gave three concrete examples: Jinhsi, Phoebe, and Lynae, all of whom demonstrate applications of light or EM-related effects

a light user using tons of light related powers doesn't mean they are legitimately lightspeed

You did use a naming convention partly for the Spectro portion even if its got roots in EM spectrum stuff but regardless there are no actual scans or statements shown that mention the EM spectrum specifcally so that line of logic doesn't fit here without it.

The rest while aspects of light manip aren't even to prove that they are "real" light or meet any the site's light/laser requirement to say their light based abilities are indeed SoL

There is indeed no explicit statement saying that Spectro = the electromagnetic spectrum in a strict physics sense. However, I already clarified that Wuthering Waves is a sci-fi work that consistently uses real-world scientific terminology and representations.
In-game, Spectro is always depicted as being directly tied to light/photon-based phenomena, and this pattern appears repeatedly across multiple resonators such as Jinhsi, Phoebe, and especially Lynae, who demonstrates color and wavelength manipulation.
Because of this, the argument is not based on naming convention or headcanon, but on a consistent and recurring in-game representational pattern.

Using light-themed abilities alone doesn't grant lightspeed, I agree.

However, my argument is about the nature of Spectro itself, not the user. If Spectro represents electromagnetic phenomena rather than symbolic light, then its emitted attacks would logically propagate at lightspeed, barring evidence to the contrary.

So provide these scans? What you've provided right now isn't enough so if there is more concrete stuff elsewhere why not use that then

no it wouldn't

u still have to prove it actually moves at lightspeed
