You should I think, Soshi isn't online ATM and I can't do the editing because mobile is pretty hard to be navigate even with desktop mode lel
EDIT: but even then that new guy arguments need to be answered, I don't want us to get painted in a wrong way
I’m at work so I can’t reply as soon as I wish, I wish the staff could have gave more input before yall closed the thread, like the one that voted before I came through.
It’s fine for now, whenever I get time I’m opening a thread for the Ether stuff, since the profiles have a lot of abilities that are gameplay locked I’ll wait before I touch up on that again, since it’ll need a lot of sandboxing n some more bs.
I had something typed up abt the DEB calc but it was closed before I could send it so I’ll send it here.
1. The blog doesn’t show where they got the length for Butcher’s sledgehammer. It needs to be put in the blog so it can be fact checked.
2. Butcher’s sledge hammer is isn’t made entirely of steel (I’m assuming that’s what the mace in question is made of), it’s mostly compromised of ethereal matter with a street light as the head (also surrounded by EM).
We don’t know how dense EM is but it looks like a rocky substance and has been described as crystals in game.
3. The blog doesn’t link the timeframe of the feat either, it doesn’t even link the same video the image used for the pixel scale is from. That blog is missing a lot of scans actually. Impossible to verify the speed.
4. One of the problems with using gameplay exclusive scenes for calcs is that you cannot scale attacks traditionally. Like, if Butcher has an attack that produces (example number) 10kg of force, then you can only scale off of that one attack. Not all of his attacks are going to have that level of force behind them as they can be slower, reducing the amount of force behind them.
So this spinning attack can only apply to Agents if they can actually parry it, iirc it doesn’t trigger a defensive assist and it doesn’t interact with parries tied to characters. I’ll have to check when I get off but even ignoring this, the calc shouldn’t be used rn.
