I kind of wanna know how much stronger Counts are to Barons

The speed gap isn't definitive proof but it makes me believe there is a large gap in power somewhere

just for fun, if we use AP = Speed and just divide the speed gap between them then you would get a difference of around 36,417 times

if we plug in those values then you will get around 859,077 megatons which is High 6C

pretty impressive when we consider how makina can kill all life in the world which is kind of vague but impressive no less

That is one of the things that makes me love this series more. They make these types of things more impressive than series that are fully focused on action. For example, when I look at Issei’s abilities, that Piko Piko Hammer just looks more impressive than all his abilities from a power scaling perspective.

The hammer would also have spatial manipulation negation, since it cancels all spatial warps. I’m not sure if that includes teleportation too, because I haven’t looked deeply into it.

One more thing we haven’t looked into regarding causality manipulation is that, aside from manipulating the past itself, all other forms of causality manipulation would also qualify as law manipulation, since the characters aren’t just affecting causality but the actual law of causality itself.

The hammer will also have law manipulation negation since it nullifies all law of causality inferences .

So if that mind=souls stuff is passed and all, doesn't basic magic have non-transmutation mind magic? Would soul manipulation be added to that in the peerage holder blog?

Just an oversight, yea peerage holders should also get soul manipulation.

Interesting stuff, this makes me curious about cross matches. I mean, does just hitting an opponent with magic affect all of that stuff at once? Or is it like self manipulation, and defending against it. Thinking about it, former a little crazy

How do we think it'd be applied in fights. Since I know some matches are planned here

well since the yuusha cast will get upgraded to H3A/L2C.. the soul minds stuff is more of a necessity I imagine

I don't think 5-A has any good options for Crossverse so we are stuck with 7-B (above baseline)

I should fix shield hero since they probs are 7-B but its massively outdated pls no GoH matches

What I mean is how will their magic work? Let's say a peerage holder uses some magic laser, or hits you with water magic. Is that auto targeting every aspect mentioned? Or is it that they can choose what to target in a match. What would the effects even be? Just damage to the aspects?
 
A much lower bound effect similar to Isis' magic power of death if you think of it that way. Magic power in high densities can induce mind poisoning to breaking the mind. Since affecting the mind = soul, just passive magic power aura will damage those aspects. And since Isis imbues the effect of her magic power of death to all her magic, every attack can affect those aspects. I think they can choose what to target seeing as Epsilon didn't intend to damage Miyabi's soul when she tried to resurrect her and was due to an error.
 
So basically like an isis effect of magic power, and it depends on the density for how effective it is? And probably not passive like Isis. Maybe once u reach high ranking demon level, the effects become much more apparent or something, idk. Theyre the ones that start using fear inducing magic aura.

But that kinda makes sense. High density magic power can already seal away spatial barriers and stuff. So what, we have magic power aura that can instill fear, and affect the mind, thus affecting the soul. But they can choose to target(or not to) memories and emotions? Just wild to imagine magic power defaultly affecting it all at once.

I like to think along the lines of, just like there's specific mind pressure/mind spells, theres probably spells for memories and empathy
 
Pretty much what @Legacy30 said, souls are a collection of magic power, and once you get to a certain level your magic power alone messes with the mind, causes fear etc.

The high tier people can choose whether or not to affect people with their magic power, some people like Megiddo don't care to suppress themselves,.so they have passive hax.

But yea I don't think this means Kaito for example is soul haxing anyone, just that due to having magic power, its something that makes that a possibility.

Also, these haxes are getting out of hand, we might have low tier having rock manipulation that can affect mind and soul 🗿
 
They can restrict it from flowing out due to control of their magical energy so yes they can control it very effectively.

Magnawell and Megiddo doesn't because of Pride iirc

Does that mean in order to break them you need to have mind and soul manipulation?

It sounds crazy because at this rate the whole cast is getting mind and soul manipulation just because magic power equals to soul
 
At what rank to do we think the soul hax and such become relevant in these ways? Once someone reaches high ranking demon? It does feel similar to when you start utilizing magic as a passive resistance. Since yeah kaito level skills probably won't be doing that.

Also I think barrier magic pretty much bolsters your defenses and stuff, so while it gives you resistance to these hax, you can probably sheer force them still
