I do have a Sandbox full of WIPs of varying progress, generally the further down you scroll the more barebones it'll look. Main thing that's missing are calcs for Attack Potency and Lifting Strength. Speed isn't a concern because I doubt any feat at the moment is faster than 101x human speed lol.

Chapter 42 I think? When Julian sneaks the assassins and blasts them out of the fort. There may also be some from Liu breaking the ground with his axe.

Then for other characters there's stuff like Altus dropping that big rock, Lukas carving out that big rock, and Arkos-Altus blasting away a hill and clouds.
 
It's true that Julian smacking away a bunch of them could be a good feat, whether or not it's above [101x human level]. That canon minimum speed/reaction time also bumps up feats like Arkos's water bolt blitzing Julian.
 
yeah the 100x thing would make his reflexes like 0.002s / 2 milliseconds which falls under Supersonic perception
I would imagine the water bolt feats would get pretty high from that timeframe
 
I'm dubious on the 100x multiplier for Hundred-Fold Strength since Orthros copied it and obvs didn't become 100x stronger in the fight

He's even said to be using Lacrima's supersonic whips with 100-fold power, which if that was meant to be accurate would just blitz all of them lol

that statement doesn't mean he's not getting the full boost, it's that he isn't as skilled/proficient in the abilities as the original users


plus it's implied from them thinking using this ability he could take on Arkos that the copied gifts shouldn't be inferior to the ogs to a drastic degree

The fact that Orthros is incapable of moving his heart despite using Liquidation does imply his Gifts are limited. His accuracy is poor in spite of gaining a hundred slaves-worth of precision. If it's one of the editor quotes then those aren't canon, and are removed in the tankōbon release.

There's also the weird thing with Juian's Gift technically not being a multiplier despite the name. Rather than multiplying his power by a hundred, he's increasing his human abilities by a hundred slaves-worth.

When Nile visualizes Orthros being able to fight strong Gifted Ones she thinks of Arkos, because Arkos was the strongest. That doesn't mean Orthros could actually fight Arkos on equal ground, she's just been given an overview of his Gift and made that conclusion herself.


That said, if I'm wrong, then I think merely being unskilled with the Gifts would still explain why they aren't instantly annihilated by Orthros. His water whips would not necessarily be faster than sound when he's poor at using Liquidation, which is more than made up for with the massive buff in power and speed from Hundred-Fold Power. Lacrima couldn't read the attacks, Lukas had his Absolute Defense, and Julian has Hundred-Fold Power himself.

Unless we're assuming base Orthos's copied water whips are only average human in speed (2/100=Mach 0.02 / 6.86 m/s); which clearly isn't the case since he was able to fight the three of them before his Reflection Gift was used.

I guess but 100 peoples worth wouldn't make a difference for a Building level character. Would boost speed for a Supersonic level character tho (Mach 2 / 686 m/s + (5*100) =1186 m/s / Mach 3.457726)

I feel like it's a skill issue on Orthros part rather than his copying being limited. He wouldn't know most of their techniques, he's only shown using what has been used on him which explains why he didn't think about shifting his heart and instead just put the shield over it

Yeah I'm not saying he could actually fight Arkos (he would get absolutely skill stomped), the point is that Nile thinks his copied Gifts would be on par with any Gift users's abilities in term in AP and Speed

This scene was a minor flash-forward to that fight, to give the chapter an exciting ending. Next chapter we see Lacrima perform the "first strike" of the battle, and we see the moment Julian receives that injury to his right ear (protecting Lacrima's heart) as well.

Orthros being able to 1v3 them without a Gift also does not match up at all with him then getting stopped in his tracks by two Giftless fighters.

Orthros being a black knight already puts him pretty high in the verse. Guillame is pretty strong himself, being able to fight Angvall a black knight level character. Being stalled by Guillame and Nile isn't an anti-feat
Plus Orthoros was about to kill Zana who has shown comparability (though clearly inferior) to Julian
 
btw Julian's base stats should be included since his Hundred-Fold Strength is a transformation

Angvall is a superhuman yeah, but kid Julian was still massively faster and stronger than her. Orthros just 1v3ing Julian, Lacrima, and a fellow Black Knight in Lukas would be a stretch. Zana is also a Gifted One who Orthros can reflect.

Yeah I agree on the flashforward thing after you pointed it out

Orthos was just gonna kill Zana with a regular attack tho
 
I feel like the scaling for Orthos will become clearer once Zana gets more portrayal since she's with the crew

Yeah after defeating her, all he had to do was deal the killing blow. Back in chapter 52 they showed Orthros and Zana's battle, and there were bone spikes across the ground and lodged in Zana's back, making her bleed. So it isn't explicit that he reflected her Gift but I don't see why he wouldn't.

Like Angvall is strong enough to get a black knight promotion without a gift and Nile thinks Angvall could fight Orthos (she has a lot info on both of them for this to be a valid claim)

But also she's inferior to the forest guardian who Julian oneshot lol

That still means stat comparability since Zana's gift doesn't physically enhance her. I'd understand it only being a Likely rating tho
 
With a rough calc I got around 182Kg to 200Kg for the rock, so I guess Athletic level is fine
 
How comparable is Arkos' blood armor to his hydrokinesis? Like we see how Atlus' and Arkos' blood armors are on different levels
 
If I get some free time with my computar next week I can calc some stuff. The last arc had a bunch of tier 8 feats, maybe even 8-A. These two are possible tier 7 but they wouldn't scale to anyone

Not very I'd say, Julian punched through a water shield and blood armor while Arkos can one-shot Julian. Arkos plays around but idk if he would intentionally make his blood armor weaker.
 
It's still the case that Julian was ragdolling Arkos after punching through Blood Armor. If he could make it as durable as he is powerful, I feel like Julian wouldn't have been able to injure him after than initial blow.
 
Post-TS base Julian should be comparable to Luka in speed due to their sparring match

I think I'm gonna calc Luka blitzing that assassin since I don't think his combat speed scales to the water whips, every time I can recall him interacting with them it's a reaction based feat
