Common Feat: Drawing & Slashing A Sword Faster Than The Human Eye Can See

I think so; we have two evaluations for it.Also, does this seem acceptable to add?![]()
I sorta want to ask how fast it could be done with a Zweihander/Doppelhänder/Beidhänder/Bihänder/Bidenhänder, Zhanmadao and/or Changdao, and Odachi/Nodachi and/or Nagamaki (and/or other greatswords/longswords), but that might be too much (also polearms generally outdo even greatswords (look at the Sarissa and Langxian and Yari) in terms of length which counters the advantage of concealment and fast deployment by virtue of size and range, so eh).
I'll focus the discussion here since the other thread is dead. It should be pretty easy is you get the blade length of the sword.

^Probably can use all three types of lengths honestly just to see how much difference the sword size makes in the speed: maximum length, minimum length and average length
Maybe we could add the other swords into the calculation first before adding if possible? (At least the first 5 linked swords)Also, does this seem acceptable to add?![]()
Errrr, there should be much more ends here. I'd add a 90 degree blow, because 180 degrees is a highball of sorts as you'd be far past the slash and it'd possibly be out of the humans perception speed timeframe. Also, does this seem acceptable to add?![]()

Would it be useful to have a page on one-shotting humans in regards to the one-shot standards? (WIP)
As long as the thing in question is one attack, these reference points are useful, thank you.![]()
A Battleboarder's Guide to One-shotting a Human, but it's 2025

We're gonna need rabbit blows/strikes, sucker blows/strikes/cheap shots, throws and takedowns that aim to impact vital parts of the person being thrown against hard surfaces, chokeholds, joint locks that can be applied extremely quickly (small joint manipulation such as breaking fingers and toes, wristlocks and anklelocks, armlocks (either to elbows or shoulders) and leglocks (usually to knees but can also be to hips), neck cranks, etc), blows to pressure points/vital areas in general, etc etc (in addition to armour, weapons, vehicles, etc that are used in combat, of course).

Yeah, they are all one attack each at minimum. As long as the thing in question is one attack, these reference points are useful, thank you.
By the way, they left out the armpit, the armpit is also technically a vital point/pressure point due to nerve clusters and major blood vessels like the brachial artery.(List of vital points/pressure points in particular, but also striking techniques)Karate techniques - Wikipedia

From what I know:Lost notos here what's new?
Calculating speed necessary to draw and attack with swords faster than the eye can see/perceiveMaybe we should make it 3 types of slashes, vertical, horizontal and diagonal.
(Technically there's 9 angles/directions of attack: 2 downwards and upwards vertical slashes/cuts, 4 downwards and upwards diagonal slashes/cuts, 2 sideways horizontal slashes/cuts, and 1 stab/thrust, and all can be done to the front, side and back, and can be done with either hand or both hands. But I'm not sure if we're gonna consider both slashes/cuts and stabs/thrusts or only slashes/cuts (cause both slashes/cuts and stabs/thrusts technically can be done after drawing depending on how the weapon is sheathed and carried), I know the title only talks about slashes/cuts but perhaps we could consider both somehow?)
Determining ways to one shot incapacitate or even kill real life humansYeah, they are all one attack each at minimum.
Rabbit blows/strikes, sucker blows/strikes/cheap shots and chokeholds each are most likely to result in KO.
Joint locks would result in Incapacitation.
Throws and takedowns and blows to pressure points/vital areas in general would result in either or both KO and Incapacitation depending on the location the attack affects (so if, for example, it's the upper body (neck and head), it would likely result in a KO, and if it's the lower and middle body (groin, spine, solar plexus and diaphragm, liver and spleen, etc), it would likely result in an Incapacitation).
By the way, they left out the armpit, the armpit is also technically a vital point/pressure point due to nerve clusters and major blood vessels like the brachial artery.

Hey, so this was approved by two Calc Groupers if you wanna toss it in.
In here it states that we can get AP from tearing off heads, but is there a calc for that?
That's LS, my friend. It's missing the AP value for doing so.![]()

The question of the priority of LS and AP in battles
I had a question about how the LS advantage works and in what cases it allows one to gain the upper hand over a stronger opponent, and in what cases it doesn't. LS usually determined whether one character could immobilize another. However, I recently learned that a 10-Kilton character with LS...vsbattles.com

You'd need to research full the mechanical function of a elevator door since the feat has mostly nothing to do with the door itself and moreso to do the actual engineering of the systems to allow the door to move itselfIs calcing forcing open elevator doors possible for this?
Is there anything else I need to do to put it on the common refs page, or is it just a matter of staff adding it if they think it's worth it to include?oh right, this should be fine
