Hazbin Hotel Discussion Thread

She was trying to break free and she couldn't, besides her not being able to dodge his attacks in the first place, so assuming that she's incomparably superior for no reason at all and that she just decided to let herself be pinned down because she isn't a fighter it's not really it.
Again, we see literally in this scene that having power doesn't make you good at fighting. These are mutually excusive factors. Emily has literally never fought anyone or anything ever.

Yeah, but Emily is vastly younger compared to Sera; she's probably still a child for seraphim standards, and the series has been pretty consistent with them being completely different levels. So saying a high-ranking infant should automatically be stronger than the head of the army is a pretty silly take, don't you think?
We don't know how much younger she is. She's depicted as a child but this doesn't mean that she's thousands of years younger. Her child-like looks are to show naïveté. She didn't know about the Exterminations, she doesn't know how bad Hell can be and she doesn't know how bad Humans are.

And there isn't really a "yeah but" to that, because if you agree that Rosie is referring to Rank in terms of power, that is the deciding factor. That is what the story tells us.

Not if one of them is a Higher order being? This is a category mismatch.

I don't know why age would factor in besides experience and proficiency in their abilities.

Like, I don't think a Human General or Commander and Chief is superior to an Infant Star Whale because one is a higher entity who's inherently stronger.

Doing the shok.wav calc rn and it looks like that one imgur image uses when shok.wav was mid-leaving V tower to the building instead of when he left the tower and went to the building. That doesn't sound like a big difference but it's the differences between 6/24 frames and 18/24 frames. Mach 10 is kind of a highball overall cause of that

correct me if I'm wrong but at that point both Charlie and Emily were saving sinners from the destruction Vox was causing so they were actually super far away from the gun
thats true I forgot, Idk where you got "super far" from tho

Tbh it’s not impactful unless you do Hell and Неаven separate universes, and if you do then keep in mind that majority here seems against it.
That is literally the only thing there's about the cosmology, of course it's what I'm doing, also it seems to me like they only people who were against were like 3 including you, the ones agreeing seemed more.

For the record I believe saying they are planets is just going against the author so yall need to prove its the death of the author.

Like its directly said they LOOK and ACT like planets but are actually universes

"But as season 2 continues, the two orbs hanging in the sky also serve as a frequent visual reminder of the story's stakes. Vox is raising the tension between Heaven and Hell, but Lucifer's daughter Charlie Morningstar finally has allies in Heaven in the attempt to save Hell's denizens. Hazbin Hotel has never just been about life in Hell, but as the connections between the two realms become more complicated, a perpetual reminder of their importance to each other is literally hanging over the characters' heads. "That's how we set it up on the visual end," Medrano says, "and the way it makes the most sense, I think.""

They only really even appear for story telling, its just visuals.

I mean, the distance it's unclear, so because Emily barely reacted to the beam once it was close enough, she shouldn't fully scale.
The fact that Charlie also saw the beam about to hit Alastor means that likely all characters could react to it, despite them all being slower.

Regardless I'm actually thinking this feat is probably much higher than FTL considering the distance between Hell and Heaven (Something which the current calc ignores)

Tbf Rosie has exact same green powers, and I don’t think a deal can grant more than the sides can provide (like you can’t just make a deal with no-name to kill Seraphims)
I’m just saying it logically/narratively soesn’t make sense to argue Alastor > Rosie
If you know Gravity Falls, it sounds like Bill > Axolotl to me
Deals seem to literally rewrite reality. When Alastor made a deal with Charlie to give her knowledge of the angel’s death, he didn’t lose that knowledge and he never had to say it out loud, reality just changed so that Charlie knew it too.

This is why Rosie didn't lose any power when her deal with Alastor broke. She rewrote reality to make him the most powerful Sinner, all without sacrificing anything on her part.

Sinners can’t just wish themselves into being the strongest, though. A deal seems to be limited by the demon’s raw power: the more power they have, the more they can change reality. They also can’t give what isn’t within their capacity to give in the first place, hence why Alastor couldn't tell Charlie how the angel died, just that it did.

Charlie Morningfraud: Alastor oh no! Can’t do a thing (3x)
Emily-Chad: saves Alastor the first time she ever even sees him

is that.......mach 3?
Shok.wav is faster than Naoya and basically accelerated in half a second, unlike that misogynistic bum

Correct

Add LS for funnies please (literally mass times speed divided by timeframe)
Other than that, do you think it's worth to calc the force of the dash? Since Shock could stop it's own speed with it's claws
**** it, why not.

I feel like you could assume that 25% of Shock's body is steel
You know I could but at the same time I'm lazy so......

Also I'd probably have to figure out the actual volume of it which is another issue

Eh, just divide the kg by the average density of a shark
The only values I've been able to find in terms of averages are length and the weight of a shark. Haven't found anything on volume or density and I don't feel like trying to figure out the volume of a shark manually
