snk-vs-capcom-3-is-something-both-parties-are-interested-in-says-snk-producer_feature.jpg

After having finished the Marvel vs. Capcom verse (outside of the Punisher), I think it's about time we'll touch on Capcom's another crossover fighting series with their long-time friendly rival (with collaborations going on and stuff). This counts both SNK's SvC (Chaos, Match of the Millennium, Card Fighters Clash and a manhua, which doesn't have much scans online) and Capcom's CvS series (both fighters and a pre-order comic for Fighting Collection 2), which each should be canon to each other.

For starters, M. Bison's CVS1 ending has this feat (basically caused volcanic eruptions and magnitude 8 earthquakes), while Akuma and Rugal's clash made a huge explosion in Osaka before one's transformation (plus the storm taking Akuma away). Regarding lifting strength, Chang has a special move that has him swinging a iron ball around his head. (albeit slower than originally) Only speed needs to be checked.

Otherwise, feel free to discuss anything related here!

Would love to get pages up for this series

I wish Leona Heidern got to be a playable character proper besides her stage cameo in CvS2, but oh well

bit of a shame we still cannot use KOF characters for fights. They are 9-A in the early tiers so its perfect for most vs SF characters.

Doesn't help they're stronger than most 9-A characters LS-wise (at least some has Class M as well; mostly Final Fight, Alpha & few SF3/SF6). James should first work on their P&As.

just kinda am excited to make kyo, mai, kula and athena fight s bunch of people

I wonder, did they make mortal kombat 9-A again? Kula vs Sub Zero is a cool fight.

Jesus, the thought of CvS being higher than MvC through Princess Athena's dimension-shattering.

Also i guess some scaling can be obtained from the CFC2 Comic, with Haohmaru, Mai and Kyo fighting Ryu, Morrigan and Kyosuke.

tldr
Kyosuke considers the SNK Team "too strong to plan around"
Finals, and Mai tricks Kyosuke with a fake Chun-Li for the first win.
Morrigan beats Mai casually
Morrigan times out Haohmaru casually, and still wins. (stamina feat for fighting for literally 999 seconds)
Kyo considers Morrigan slow and one shots with a uppercut
Ryu and Kyo double KO each other with a crosscounter but Ryu stands up first and continue fighting despite the tie.

So, Ryu>=Kyo > Morrigan > Haohmaru/Mai >= Kyosuke > Probably Chun-Li since she was in the tourney but got eliminated early on.

CvS Ryu seems to like "going fists first" with kyosuke being the one planning the combat strats all the way to the finals. (So this is a somewhat reckless Ryu)
