What people in TikTok, Reddit and X say about our wiki is of no consequence to us. We are happy in our site with our own standards and regulations, they can keep entertaining themselves with their own. As long as they don't bring their destructive behavior to this site and then create a shitshow, and even then it's just a matter of slamming the banhammer on them. It's why we don't give a shit about reddit battleboarding threads and we don't go about wanting to pick fights with other fandoms. If you do that you are a sore loser.

I think nobody actually thinks that just because Deep and Batman are in the same tier means the fight would actually be any close.
But it's funny to watch people find 2 characters who don't seem even remotely close but are in the same tier. I don't think it's really mockery of the wiki

Yeah there's a good deal of people who actually are actually very serious about this, that's what the entire slander is rooted in is the belief that its all bullshit and the site is bad but its really not worth engaging with since it's gonna be the same as any other efforts to try and engage with the same people who have had this sentiment for years now.
As KLOL said its much healthier to just not give a shit about it and continue to operate as we always do

this kind of sentiment has existed for years
and yeah, this is usually the reaction you would get trying to explain things otherwise to people off site generally is rage baiting or the kinds of arguments and criticism that are usually range from being entirely baseless and outright false to just having to try and explains things to people who have a complete lack of understanding about the way the site works due to rampant spreading of misinformation from others who spread these kinds of agendas which already puts a negative stigmatism in them already

I wouldn't really say Mario is downplayed here tbh, if you're ginna composite then you need to take into account all low ends and anti-feats in context AND the high stuff too which led to its rating being a mid end placed where its feats most consistently land

Reading Dipper's profile:
Tier: 9-A; Low 2-C Environmental Destruction with unstable Chrono-Blasters
Reading the scan, it ripped a hole in space time because it wasn't a properly working Blaster. Mable touched the new rift, worsening the tear, & shortly after, creatures, humans & machines from different times started emerging, then the universe collapsed on itself.
If it's cartoon Invincible's first key, Dipper scales to like 0.6c in combat speed vs Invincible's 0.34c, so Dipper MIGHT be able to stall for enough time for the universe to collapse.
But unless space time collapsing somehow takes out Mark before Dipper.... Well, it'd just be forcing a draw, right?
Invincible would definitely be able to just clap the air beside Dipper's head & knock him out, lol.

Powerscaling is a niche hobby. The average person doesn't know what environmental destruction is or the gap between tiers. So if they see "Tier 2" on Dipper's profile, they will already go crazy.
Most are just jokes anyway.

Yeah I know, but looking into how these silly matchups might actually go anyway is fun to me. It's especially fun that Dipper's high tier stuff in this case just amounts to:
A. No guarantee (& quite unlikely.) it gets Invincible before Dipper.
B. Takes out both of them for a draw.
C. Mark takes Dipper out fast enough it doesn't matter. (Either before he fires, or taking him out before space-time collapses.)
He doesn't really have a chance at all.
To me, that's funny.

Stereotype schmereotype, it ain't that deep bro. This is an incredibly subjective hobby to which there is no one single correct solution. These stereotypes have existed for years, didn't stop us then, ain't gonna stop us now.
Besides, you'd only make things much worse trying to respond back to them as that'd essentially be picking a fight. AKA getting rage-baited, which is prohibited on our wiki. DO NOT GO OUT PICKING FIGHTS OR EVEN TRYING TO "CORRECT" OTHERS OFF-SITE LIKE THIS.
Out of sight, out of mind is the official policy here. We don't give a shit about what stereotypes people make about us as long as it doesn't directly attempt to destabilize the wiki itself, and even then, we can just simply hand out permanent IP bans for that sort of shit like we always have.

I feel like it's a mixture of 9/10 them being tier 1 (which sounds goofy asf when they rarely actually show that stuff and act relatively tier 9-8 outside of that) and the idea of a powerscaler taking the character that "seriously" per say.
