Isn't it just that any injury to the nape is an instant win? Then why are we rating people to full shifter Titan durability (over a large surface area) for cutting through napes....
Especially the current rating for Eren is him slashing the nape of the anorexic Colossal Titan after Bertolt evaporated a ton of weight trying to fry Armin. Are they a weak point or not?
Their napes arent any less durable than the rest of their bodyIsn't it just that any injury to the nape is an instant win?
Huzy is the only person against it, and them being against it goes against how we rate weapons on this site, soBump
How long is the odm blade thing gonna take
Damage also disagrees due to surface area, it's got 2 staff neutrals and 1 staff agree otherwiseHuzy is the only person against it, and them being against it goes against how we rate weapons on this site, so
Yeah the napes still require materials that are tough enough (iron bamboo and ultrahard steel) to damage titan bodiesTheir napes arent any less durable than the rest of their body
Both myself and Reaper have already explained this in detail multiple times. The surface area is the reason why the swords would be tier 7 in cutting power but not durability.Damage also disagrees due to surface area, it's got 2 staff neutrals and 1 staff agree otherwise
The swords are quite literally described as brittle and are canonically designed to be easy to break and are built to be disposable.Yeah the napes still require materials that are tough enough (iron bamboo and ultrahard steel) to damage titan bodies

Are we really sure its the blades having high AP or just piercing damage?

Regular ass arrows can pierce titans
Maybe writing "8-B piercing damage via blades" is better than outright saying they are 8-B.
This is probably the reason why World War-era weapons are a threat to Titans, since their resistance to piercing damage sucks.
Alright fair, I was kinda the dumb for the necessary wording lolI believe I talked about this here before, the arrow does genuine fall under surface area. It's only puncturing a small area compared to ODM blades which can slash through entire chunks of titan flesh
8-B piercing damage via blades is literally the same as 8-B via blades, it's like not the blunt end of the blade is cutting through titan flesh. I don't see why this specific wording would be needed considering that's the typical assumption for how blade weapons are rated here
Also the whole world war-era weapons is appeal to reality Cannonballs are already exploding pure titan heads which have megajoules worth of durability and thunderspears are blowing up at least 8-B level durability already with what's on the current profiles. Plus most of the Marley tech is specifically made to be anti-titan
I would argue the sword durability shouldn't be drastically lower than the blade's cutting power since it still has to endure the force, that's the reason why ultrahard steel's flexibility plus toughness allows the blades to cut through titansSo yeah, Blades should scale to titan durability in AP via cutting power but would not scale in durability or to physical AP
Nothing yet, thats why we;re on page 8...which part of the thread has been accepted?
Everything except the odm blade scalingwhich part of the thread has been accepted?
Those part can be applied. I would advise to create another CRT specially for the ODM Blade scaling.Everything except the odm blade scaling
So the Low 7-C Bertolt feat has been accepted?Everything except the odm blade scaling
No, it was removed from the proposalsSo the Low 7-C Bertolt feat has been accepted?
All right Where's the hard proof for this?i dont know if this has been discussed yet since the topic is way too large for me to comb every post.
But i feel like Ymir (and i guess to some extent Eren since he has some level of control over her in the end) is massively underrated because people don't understand the last parts of AOT
The rumbling is kind of unbeatable by regular means because its ultimately being controlled by a being that's above the concept of time. The only reason they "won" in AOT is because Eren orchestrated a future where Ymir willingly chooses to lose due to sympathizing with Mikasa (this is why he says "it had to be Mikasa" in the end).
I don't know how exactly this would reflect in ratings because in terms of stuff like attack potency there isn't really much of note. but i think it is noteworthy that even if you dropped someone with universal AP in AOT they couldn't really do anything to stop the rumbling. even if you blow up the universe, that doesn't really do anything to Ymir. and she can always remake all the titans at any point in time connected to the paths. (which as far as we know is all of time).
This is extremely unrelated to the premise of the crti dont know if this has been discussed yet since the topic is way too large for me to comb every post.

I mean a direct statement.

The part about Mikasa specifically is the last group of scans. The others are about the Path transcending space and time
we should discuss it here and come to a conclusion.i dont know if this has been discussed yet since the topic is way too large for me to comb every post.
