Only looking for a confirmation, I had Ultima at multi solar system for warping that nebula in background. But I now I came across this thread and seeing universal+ stuff, I know he created the rift but I want to confirm if the final battle also took place there.
I'm not finding an explicit statement if that's what you're want just seeing implications of such such as the murals and structures from the rift being present in that dimension floating around and some other stuff too but searching online too I still see it said that the fight takes place in the rift
There was no structure in the space battle, unless it’s a dimension within the dimension or he just created it on the spot.
You literally see the debris from the structure with the murals floating around in the battle and no Origin itself is a ship not a dimension, the only dimension ultima creates is the rift, we've no reason to assume otherwise we see stones with the murals from rift floating around in the battle
Because the data book is listing the moves he can use in battlewhy would the data book feel the need to say the guy with the sword can cut infront of him

Its not "hyping up" anything, its literally just a page that lists down Odin's abilities. Its like these pages in video game guides that showcase the description of every ability, even if its as mundane and simple as "cuts the target with blades". Basically a move description, if you know what those are

There are profiles, blogs and calculations (approved). It's just things come up in life and this is ment to be a casual hobby not a formal commitment furthermore most of the active FF supporters are focusing on the verse in general and since it's the most recent (numbered) game with most of it's feats/lore readily available without too much research, FFXVI isn't really a major priority rn plus there's a TON content, lore and feats to go through in both the Ivalice Alliance and Fabula Nova Crystallis (two entire cosmologies within the greater FF multiverse).
Literally since doing work on 16 I moved on and did all the relevant calcs for Tactics and FF12 to help with that and now I'm doing FF8, we do technically have all ratings and calcs figured out and accepted for 16, its just making and finishing the profiles
The Ivalice alliance is a lot bigger than I initially expected in terms of background and lore.
It's one of those games where the concept is fantastic but the execution is lacking, like the idea of giving individual parts of the body they own HP is interesting but due to being an older and archaic game it leads to a ton of micromanagement.
They are basically all done aside from stamina but no one ever put my suggestion into stamina

that the supernatural willpower stuff of dominants correlates to stamina and that it can be used hand and hand for that as well since their willpower is >>> everyone else's allowing them can push through some shit like even the guy who was just branded being able to temporarily resist his own becoming Akashic to end himself or them like their willpower that grants them tolerance to large amounts of Aether and Aetherfloods that turn most people Akashic to begin with

Ah that is indeed the wrong timestamp, need to do some general clean up for the sandbox anyway so I'll get that timestamp fixed as well.

I mean yeah, don't get me wrong I love Clive but...surely there was someone more fitting to fight Dante right? While a lot of the stuff for XVI is already done, no profiles have been published yet and there's a lore book on the way, on top of FF as a whole still undergoing major revamping. Plus with DMC's revisions still going on...just feels like Dante should have gone against someone else. Like maybe have a runback with Bayo now that DMC5 and Bayo 3 + Cereza & The Lost Demon are a thing, or hell maybe do Dante vs Alucard (Castlevania)
Well their scaling and research is different to ours so what we do for both verses over here won't mean much for them, they sometimes borrow calcs from us but that's about it.
