Gotta be honest, I only wanted to do this once I saw this image on reddit, pretty great artist, credit to them

Rahen Jack and Final War Arc Tsuyu are being used here, speed is equalised, SBA for everything else

Jack Hanma: 7 (Mickey1940, Arkansalter2, SlendVeny, Stillwinston, Kazuma_kuwabara, Da3ggman, Greatsage13th)
  • AP and Dura downscales from 15.25 Kilotons (I think)
  • LS of >225 Kg (This can't be real, it feels like it should be much higher)
Tsuyu Asui: 1 (57Dev)
  • AP and Dura scales to 10.08 Kilotons
  • LS of >100 Tons

Jack Hanma for sure scales to Baki, he literally MADE BAKI STRUGGLE in a lifting contest


But yeah, Tsuyu has more LS, but Jack is fighting guys with class K feats right now in the series

Jack surely does not scale to Nomi no Sukune II or Hanayama, but I agree he should upscale to people like, at least little man who has a Class K LS feat

I don't know, probably I guess. Froppy still has a massive LS advantage, I don't know if she goes for choking, and if she does, I wonder if Aiki can nullify the choke or not
 
pretty sure Tsuyu gets folded like an arm chair and literally eaten

Tsu's CQC is frankly kinda dogsh*t compared to Baki characters as she has no real direct combat showings besides maybe some off-screen stuff

her most common strats (tongue and poison) can be completely ignored in this matchup as Jack can just bite the tongue clean off and he has resistances to poison, so I don't think Tsu can do literally anything

I don't know why people have this misconception of Jack being some master martial artist.

He is the worst fighter in terms of skill other than Pickle and Hanayama. His main skill is biting which basically puts his neck out for a choke. Sure he uses some pressure points here and there once in a blue moon but most of his fights are more like a rabid chimp.

Asui has far better mobility as she can move on a any surface and is far more nimble.
 
Jack is good. He's flat-out just a beast. He treats biting like an art form, beats Shibukawa's Aikido, performs a triple suplex on Pickle, all that kinda stuff. But he's best at fighting people who do not have superpowers.

Tsuyu has superpowers. She's acrobatic, mobile. She can actively cling to walls in a way even a guy like Sikorsky couldn't. She can extend her tongue a long distance, choke people out, grab them, whatever. Her skin exerts a painful paralytic toxin. She can camouflage herself better than someone like Gaia, because it requires no effort for her.

However, there's the matter of statistics. Tsuyu is a little over 10 Kilotons. Jack scales off many people, one of them being Pickle. Pickle AT LEAST scales to his previous self, who scales to base Yujiro during the Pickle arc. Yujiro was stronger than he was in Baki's past, when he easily performed the >15 Kiloton feat. Base Pickle arc Yujiro is also Class M, though his feat did take him a second. If that's not enough, Biscuit Oliva also has a Class M feat. Asui is baseline Class K.

Jack wins, but it's with some difficulty, due to many factors, including the fact that his primary attack would require him to get toxins in his mouth.

I am voting for him.
 
Voting Jack here fra, he's got insane pain tolerance and better ap scaling for starters and is arguably better skilled (Remember he nearly defeated max tournament Baki until he locked in.) Worst case assuming Tsuyu does knock him out he could do his hidden attack and force an incon.

It's crazy how bad the Baki profiles are outside of Yujiro and maybe Baki, Oliva has a Class M feat and that is not even being properly used, not even a CRT to say it doesn't scale because Sukune's grip strength is portrayed as the top and Oliva's feat can't be used, the Class M feat is just there

Unfortunately not the way I wanted this to go, I like more in depth details instead of single line argument, but if it really comes down to just "Jack Outskills" I can't really change it. I dropped this in the MHA general discussion thread, the supporters can try to come here and argue for Tsuyu until tomorrow I guess

Well, 1st things first. Attempting to restrain Jack in close quarters is a bad idea, people who had tried to do so had their flesh bitten off every darn time. He can also do the same when someone attempts to throw hands with him, Sukune and Shibukawa are prime examples.

Tsuyu also is less skilled than Jack (Pretty much all Bakiverse people have too insane of a skill level to begin with).

I don't know if Hanayama and Pickle have that insane levels of skill, narratively it at least feels like both rely more on physical stats

Both of them are the exceptions. Hanayama especially, he pretty much relies on raw strength alone over skills.

Outskill, martial arts, the 9 yards.
Jack is a genius combatant while Tsuyu is only above average.
Baki verse characters are genuinely busted in terms of skill.
