Pokemon Discussion Thread - Red & Blue arc

Doesn’t Hyper Beam use vaporization? He vaporized a huge part of the mountain, I think a proper calc needs to be made
It’s usually Violent Fragmentation like all Pokemon attacks (this looks like vaporization though), and it’ll only be for the Horizons canon, but that looks very calcable. We do have a minimum mountain size you can use.

"Horizons canon" Not a thing. This is one of the pokemon anime, one specifically made to replace the ash anime. It is separate from the Ash story and there's no evidence they are in the same universe, however the canon split is lifted, all feats, as long as they're consistent, count.

So which Pokemon will this affect for Ash universe?

This was cool, Ghost Artorias has come a long way in recent years with his animations. Awkward to have "..." vs AI voice, but it was well-worth it to implement some logic of an actual Pokemon show/comic fight in the script. I don't think Red ever had a [redacted] in any of his teams unless there was something in the manga that I'm forgetting, so it was weird to have that instead of his mainstay Eevee variant, but whatever. Does a lot with limited sprite resources. Punchy sound and choreography & likeable writing.

This needs to be unlocked for editing, as while Giratina is described as controlling antimatter in various sources and even tagged as “antimatter users”, it doesn’t have “Antimatter Manipulation” listed in its Powers/Abilities section

... How the hell did that even happen?

You might need to make CRT for it since it is technically an ability addition, but it should be easy... hopefully.

I recall it was already debunked to actually be Nonexistent Physiology in context, so that should get cleaned up to begin with.

You are quite likable. Although you can be prone to getting into disagreements, many share your taste in cool, tough mons & I admire your passion & dedication to information gathering.
You don't have to be so hard on yourself.
Thanks, Imaginym. You actually haven't yet seen my hundreds of Masters feats that I've collected over years that will be revealed once it becomes canon

How so? Never heard of this. Why even still include the proof of "Antimatter" as one of the lines to begin with?
Probably because the page is outdated, but in any case I'm talking about this, it appears that a CRT is yet to be done on that however.

Subsonic. Horizons isn't canon to the main Pokemon verse, so Pikachu doesn't have any impressive speed feats even as a species.
Pikachu as species can use lightning and they should be able to dodge and react to their own attacks, that should apply by default to any Pikachu unless shown otherwise, unless you think Captain Pikachu or any Pikachu can't react to their own attacks which is dumb

I recently got Pokemon adventures black & white volume 1-9;
volume 1-7 and 10-12 of the sun & moon manga;
volume 1, 2, 4, 6, 8-13 of the sword & shield manga;
and Pokemon X Y Pocket Comics

Pocket Comics has a few things.

Quillandin doesn't even notice getting hit by a Farfetch'd leak hitting it add 310 mph, a effortless 9-C feat although they are also treated as particularly durable. (28)

Caterpie's suction cup feet are apparently strong enough to let it cling to airplanes in flight. (36)

Mega Gardevoir seemingly uses hyper beam and splits it into 3 beams. (56)

Gogoat can read thoughts of those riding it to the point of knowing where they want to go. (80)

A Scrafty splits a boulder into half by accident after a banette messes up the Scrafty's attempt to split it with their voice. (90)

Meowstic is able to locate and telekineticly lift a chespin that was trying to hide from it . The chespin even say it will never be able to successfully hide from Meowstic if it uses its powers. (98)

Aegislash is explicitly stated to be able to detect those destined to become royalty it is played for a joke but not in a way that necessarily deconfirms it. (104)

Aromatisse can use good smells offensively in the example the book provides use the smell of curry to invoke hunger and seemingly hunger pain. (108)

Provided an example of how good Slurpuff's sense of smell is smelling chocolate that a Pokemon ate three days ago although it doesn't immediately identify which Pokemon did so. (112)

Mega Medicham is shown able to project its extra arms a decent distance away from itself and have them perform 4 different tasks. (116)

Bit random list, but I actually have that book too, I searched for feats in it years ago; those are all correct. You’ve honed your ability to search out and extract feats almost exactly as well as mine.

You may want to be more specific on the source as there's quite a lot of Pokemon works under that label.

the book splits into three sections based on the 3 pokedex Kalos has and this is just the green one. Most comics didn't have anything that seemed unusual for the Pokemon even several things on the list I made are probably pointless the leek one I did just because I thought it would be fun.
I did have to use real world weight values for the leek since we can't really find the weight of the original Farfetch'd leek but we are told the Galarian one weighs twice as much as the Pokemon itself does. There's probably a way to make a decent estimate of the weight of the original's leek using that information. At 2 kilograms it would be very low into 9-B
The rock split thing is just support evidence those boulder breaking dex entries not representing the mons actual limits. Honestly the pile of evidence already in favor is big enough. Honestly given the only two sound moves it would be able to get at the time are round and snarl as TMs the voice thing is somewhat interesting.
Some other cool stuff is mentioned but it's mostly just based less ambiguous dex stuff.

The X and Y one, I mentioned getting about a post not long before that one.

These sound interesting to have scans of.

I get that. Where should I upload them? I don't think this site allows us to upload media to it, and I know there is issues with imgur.

Personally, I like Postimg, since it lets you set auto-deletion dates for images, & as long as you have the url you go to when you upload them, you can also use the removal link. It also does not require signup.
Otherwise, I'm unsure. Might wait for others to weigh in. Maybe Gyazo?
Is publishing them to a blog viable?

Has anyone seen that Mega Dragonite Feat where its beam makes a huge hole in a mountain and implies it killed a Tentacruel
