Is it only me or that vsbw keeps freezing on my phone or even when I keep switching between this phone and my other one, although it's perfectly fine on my laptop?

Just live with the fact that you should reopen the browser app or press the button that shows every open website then choose the same page you were in :d

It's not. The site freezes until you open the "changing page" menu or the entire app itself, yes?

I thought it was because my phone sucks (doesn't change the fact though).

Its a "This website is poorly optimized and its sins weight the same amount as the ads it plays" issue. I recommend switching to a browser with a built-in ad block.

It's not because of the amount of ads.

It wasn't happening months ago as well, so probably it's caused by a new small change in the site?

Yeah I guess it was Chrome's issue, it seems to be working perfectly on brave, which is weird cuz I'm using chrome on my laptop and vsbw is running perfectly fine, it is what it is I guess...
Edit: So yeah I suggest using brave if you don't wanna crashout on the site, like me!

No, it is the ads. This is like, admin confirmed. Its not only the ads, but ads play a massive role in this issue.

1: Chrome is a badly optimized browser in general

2: Ads tank the performance of this forum.

Both at the same time will lead to freezes and shit, even on strong phones. I have a Galaxy S23 right now, its not world class but it was a flagship level phone a couple years ago. VSB is god aweful on it.

If it's any help, Brave (and flex) browsers are butter smooth on my end, whereas it is constantly freezing on Chrome. I'd say try Brave app and check it out. It's probably something with the ads (and their awful placement).
