He didn't shrug shit off, that attack was from the outside and it is quite clear that he survived briefly, but he could still think and speak, which an attack directly for your brain will not let happen. Again, Risotto dies right after but Toru goes 100% before him.

It's technically even not a Stand, the Stand ability is being able to use WoU at all, in the same way a Stand ability can let you manipulate water or fire.

Groomed by Dio Dio didn't even mean to tbh, it just kind of happened and bad shit happened that shifted his perspective like the whole KKK, accidentally killing his sister, and he became fascinated with the idea of fate and gravity like "why was it my brother who was kidnapped instead of me" and how fate and meetings can change everything hence MIH's whole everyone can see fate thing.
He thinks he's doing good but his worldview is so ****** up due to his past that he doesn't realize how evil he actually is. Like he knows some of what he does is bad, but he views it as a sacrifice for the greater good like how Jesus became a martyr, so too will those who need to die to "save the world" type shit.

2) do we consider only canon material and not non canon stuff like Jorge Joestar?

3) do we consider every part or stuff like only stands?

If I had to guess my top ten it would be

1) GER Giorno

2) Wonder Of U

3) TA4 Johnny Joestar

4) Love Train D4C Funny Valentine

5) MIH pucci

6) Ultimate Kars

7) High DIO (Interchangeable)

8) Prime Jotaro (Interchangeable)

9) Gappy (Go Beyond) (Interchangeable)

10) Diavolo (not sure hes just a guess for top 10

Honorable Mentions - Gyro, Jonathan at his peak, the other pillar men outside of Santana, prime Joseph Joestar, Yoshikage Kira

Notes for my guesses

1) Ultimate Kars always felt like a top 5 because he felt like a character where hes like the obstacle for being top 4 due to him boasting the best physical stats and having insane quantity of abilities

2) I put interchangeable on DIO, Jotaro and Gappy due to the fact that Gappy is inferior in stats but Go Beyond and his other abilities could **** up both Jotaro and DIO. Issue is that if either two lock in hes cooked (inferior dura and speed does that) but for DIO he kinda does get arrogant at times so he could fumble, Jotaro is a simple man with a simple stand that hits like a truck

3) Im not sure on the exact conditions that happen if GER and WOU clash but both are top 2 Imo

4) I put Diavolo at #10 because hes physically a strong stand user but its also cause he seems to have always gone for the kill so I think KC with that mentality just makes him a decent contender

5) I would argue for Jonathan since he has Dura neg alongside actually good physicals but the pillar men and Prime Joseph do it at a bigger level alongside Joseph not being as straightforward to fight as Jonathan.

6) please know that top 10's in JJBA is not as simple as other mangas due to the nature of the fights not being as simple. Abilities, knowledge, etc is key to winning most fights alongside other stuff that makes it hard. I think I have a reasonable list but I dont think Im correct due to how the fights and powersystems work

I just wanted to say a power ranking on canon material, of course, over hax or everything. also gappy can't even control to go beyond hax properly and according to this wiki his speed is quite low, he can't even get into the top 20 next to other characters asf.

Read Part 1 manga. Part 2 anime. Stay tf away from Part 3 anime until you get to like the last 3rd. Part 4 manga or anime it don't matter much. Part 5 anime is like oddly really good. Part 6 manga.

Extremely bad pacing.
To give an example, Part 4-6 are all longer than Part 3 by varying amounts.
Part 3 -16 volumes
Part 4 -18 volumes
Part 5 - 17 volumes
Part 6 - 17 volumes

It's the shortest by 1-2 volumes. Part 5-6 all have 38 episodes, which makes sense, all about the same, except Part 4 but it trimmed a lil here and there (well they all do but ya know what I mean), it's fine, aight.

Part 3 is ******* 48 episodes, ten whole ass episodes more because lmao.

For some reason they wanted Part 3 to be two seasons, this ended up destroying pacing, the first half before they get to Egypt drags on and on at points, the most egregious example is "The Sun" fight, which in the manga, starts off like a normal Stand fight, the initial ch sets up and ends with "Oh shit it's a enemy!", 80% of the ch is just yapping, going to where they want to go and setting up too. So you go damn this enemy looks insanely strong! How will they beat it? Literally beats it that same chapter. Whole fight isn't even 20 pages. On purpose, the author had it set up to have this super strong looking enemy get taken out instantly with one of the characters at the end actively being awestruck because they haven't even learned his ******* name yet and they already won.
The anime extends what in Part 4-6's pacing would be not even 5 minutes of runtime, into a whole episode, just long drawn out panning shots, it's actually bad.

This happens all through Part 3.
There isn't even much actual filler, like we get a few new scenes and some cool, but it isn't like DBZ where the filler is ACTUAL content it's just everything takes just a tad longer to pad time.
It's bad.
The last chunk of Part 3 is fine because once they got to the good shit, they actually did it right, the Part 3 anime has like multiple episodes in my top 5, but 40 of like 48 being a ******* slog isn't it chief.

Part 1 I say read the manga for the exact opposite, Part 1 and 2 were 1 season, so Part 1 anime skipped a lot of stuff, not enough to where you don't get what's happening, but just nice stuff like scenes with Jonathan and Danny, scenes like Dio being a dick as a kid, just stuff that helps. Part 2 only removed like 1-2 scenes that nobody gives a shit about and the rest of it in the anime makes up for it so yeah.
