Plok has a small ap/dura gap but i think sharpness and protection are enough to close that gap.

They should be roughly equal to each other. Steve is not bloodlusted so the BTFO pro 2b2t mace drops are out the question. In the official animations, it's seen that minecraft characters fight extremely simple, which is a big no-no.
Steve in this match has no way to sustain himself which is a big fat problem for Steve.
I'm going with Plok, mid diff. Steve will kill him at least once but he hardly has a way to heal himself in this case and eventually, Plok will overtake him and once Steve dies, he's done.
Plok, mid diff.

Steve still has acccess to potions here

I see steve winning, he has the ability to counter the opponent's attack. Plok can be cursed by stave or use Potion of Decay to make plok die continuously until he dies

Personally, I'm going with Steve here.

While he doesn't have prior knowledge, given the 100 m starting distance and how Plok lacks any kind of instawin abilities (like Superman's lasers), it wouldn't take long for Steve to get out some of his dura neg stuff (like poison/decay potions or a flame-enchanted bow, which, mind you, Plok has ZERO RESISTANCE TO) and be able to passively drain Plok's health down

Even if Plok ends up catching him while he's trying to search through shulker boxes, Steve still has a good amount of healing options, as well as Totems of Undying, which would allow him to easily continue the fight regardless. Plus, if Plok uses some of his fire/poison manip, Steve can just use potions of fire resistance/milk in order to negate the effects. Oh, and that LS gap isn't giving Plok any favors.

Overall, what I'm trying to say here is that, even without any prep time or bloodlust to use any advanced 2b2t-level tactics, Steve still has far more options and can easily counter whatever Plok does with his abilities.

Good points, but most of the times it's considered that Steve have only 1 totem of undying in his matches

Even still, Steve can keep on using regen potions, blocking attacks with his shield, and his own passive Mid-level regen/stamina to deal with his attacks. I also forgot that with the Thorns enchantment, Steve can also make it so that Plok also damages himself when attacking Steve, making it even harder for him to win

Voting Steve fra, Plok also doesn't have resistance to fire so if Steve's weapons have fire aspect or flame that would cause Plok problems.

I know this ended a week ago, but shouldn't this be added to the profiles given grace?
