Imo the kashimo in the drafts likely wouldve had thatKashimo him to not doing domain and destroying his ears with some playboi carti. Ngl I didn't know Spiderman had it like that
H2H was never Yuji's winconDoesn't Spidey have insane skill feats compared to Yuji? He beat Taskmaster who could both naturally and artificially recreate his entire fighting style down to a T after all.
I hadn't thought about that. I still stand by that Spider-man would have an edge in the early-fight, but once neither of them can quickly incap each other with physical strength, both would resort to their other abilities, which seems that Yuji has an edge.I feel precognition and reactions make Spidey tricky to catch, but I don't think those advantages matter when Yuji can power through all of Spider-Man's methods of incap. Cursed Energy reduces the effect of electricity, and deafening him won't do much with his pain tolerance and RCT to circumvent it. Additionally Sorcerers can apply CE to their ears to counter sound attacks (i.e. Cursed Speech), so he may very well be capable of doing the same here. Webs don't work due to Yuji's better LS and Shrine which will cut the webs and anything attached to it. Yuji has an AP advantage and durability advantage on top of that.
All Yuji needs to do to win is a single hand gesture to open up his domain. Even if you want to argue Spider-Man webs him up before he can do it, Yuji has better LS so he can ignore it, and thus it won't stop him PLUS he can break out and just try again if it did mess him up. And Spider-Man isn't going to know his hand gesture is going to literally create a pocket dimensions that will kill him. He's going to think Yuji is doing an evadable attack.
Arkenis mentioned Spider-Man webbing up Yuji faster than he can react (Which is physically impossible here without a proper speed-amp), but that's bad for Spider-Man. Because best case scenario Yuji breaks out, or swings Spider-Man using his own web. Worst case scenario, Yuji uses Shrine on the web which will spread to Spider-Man's arms and cut them clean off, and will also harm his soul. Something he doesn't have a resistance to (Soul damage in particular). Which will both weaken Spider-Man physically to extremely impairing degrees, and kill him.
If Yuji does use Blood Manipulation, which he would ONLY use if he's sure it will hit after seeing Spider-Man's evasion in close-combat (Such as Supernova in closer-quarters), and Spider-Man gets hit, he's done for. The poison will cause him to collapse in seconds, which at best just leaves the symbiote suit to fight for him.
I think Spider-Man gives him a tough fight, but I can't earnestly see him winning reliably when Yuji powers through or circumvents essentially every one of his win-cons.
Hmm this sounds convincing (might switch to yuji because of this)I feel precognition and reactions make Spidey tricky to catch, but I don't think those advantages matter when Yuji can power through all of Spider-Man's methods of incap. What's the calc for this?I already explained he's 1 Kiloton
He doesn’t scale to that calcWhat's the calc for this?
Every calc I'm finding is putting Spidey to at least 1.6 Kilos.
That's absurd unless getting punched by Sandman has a separate energy value. He doesn’t scale to that calc
Yeah it’s wrong but it’s what the wiki accepts. One kiloton is from upscaling the MCB+ valueThat's absurd unless getting punched by Sandman has a separate energy value.
Where'd you get 1 Kilo from then?
CountedI voted for Spiderman
This match is too close to be added yetWait, aren't 72 hours already passed?
Just checked, it can. Will doWell, iirc after 72 hours it could be added as an inconclusive match up, but i don't know is it allowed to wait more for the new voters or not
