Holy Grail War! Stelle & Saber (Artoria) Vs Aventurine and Archer (EMIYA) (Honkai: Star Rail X Fate/Stay Night) [8-5-4]

well gates of gamblion does look as his strongest and 1-B move esp aince vro even made a barier that took acheron sword to break it so
Yeah Aventurine described that attack as him pulling every last chip into a final gamble. An attack that he knows would cause Acheron to intervene and “match his wager”. I think it’s safe to assume that he only reaches 1-B AP with Gates of Gamblion and not his other attacks he has showcased in his fight because none of them warranted an Acheron interference

so ture fr yea he one shots they aint safe vrotato

Unlimited Food Work and Saber is out, and Archer processes to use his Eroge Protagonist rank EX on Stelle to add her into his harem. Archer stomp

Caelus isn't Emiya Shirou though
This is a legitimate dialogue option btw

Wouldn't Archer still be able to attack them since his arrows can break into pocket realities, so wouldn't that include Aventurine's as well?

From what I read, since Aventurine starts off in cornerstone wouldn't he unleash Gate of Gambleon relatively quick which creates a Pocket Dimension for him, Stelle, and Saber, and the argument on Stelle and Saber's side is Stelle command spell amping Saber to stop Aventurine. However, that still leaves Archer who can attack from afar and Break into Pocket realities with his arrows, probably buying Aventurine enough time to unleash his full power.

Aventurine wouldn't start off with coin works the same way Archer wouldnt start off with unlimited Blade Works and Saber with excalibur. Its probably more likely for Stelle to pull the trigger first with the command spell to use excalibur though. Even then, Archer shouldnt be able to break into Aventurines Coin Works due to the level of it.

If youre wondering why archer shouldnt be able to break into Aventurine's UCW, the ap section

Ah, I didn't think the Cornerstones would fully scale to 1-B thanks for showing me that
its because he’s still using 1/10th the power of an emanator. It would also explain why his last ditch effort final attack warranted the response of Welt using Star of Eden and Acheron unleashing her sword, which is also 1-B. It also looks like his 1-B is limited to his final attack as well since none of his attacks are anywhere near that level.

I vote Emiya, ngl, the guy knew what Saber can do and her weakness, he will do everything to take the win, even it is dirty sniping tactic, 1 vs 1 he probably can't win again Saber, with 2 vs 2 Emiya has alot of option, such as constantly sniping Stelle to force Saber from either choose to protect Stelle but couldn't get close to him or abandon Stelle to go for a close combat with him. Assuming we have Holy Grail War Command Seal with Master-Servant link, then Rule Breaker is ready to counter that. In case Avennturine being the target, Emiya sniping protect him, he did that in UBW against Berserker, where he constantly sniping Berserker as a mean to both attack and prevent Berserker's advancement when the big guy fighting Saber, he can fire multiple homing arrows at once sniping both Saber and Stelle isn't a problem, and since it is homing arrow, they are forced to block, the only reason Lancer counter Archer was the guy have Protection from Arrow allow him to dodge projectiles, or projectiles will automatically miss

So all and all Archer take this, he is versatile and have multiple ways to deal with this match

The issue with sniping Stelle is that she actively wants multiple enemies jumping her since she can reduce the enemies damage by 70% and buff her defense by 30% alongside healing herself. This would lead to Saber getting the drop on them. She also has abilities from the path of harmony, preservation, and destruction that can help as well. Im not sure how well using Caster's rule breaker would do on Stelle herself since she resists Imaginary energy. Caladbolg II haxes would probably just be reduced to an AP only arrow against her as well due to her resistances to that and some of the path of nihility. Archer might also be taunted by Stelle so most of his arrows might just target Stelle only.

Honestly I'm kinda unsure about this matchup. In the grand scheme it really seems like Stelle and Aventurine are the important factors here.

I'll go with Inconclusive for now, and wait for more arguments on both sides

Tbf Stelle is not winning without Saber

Have you seen the state of the nasuverse profiles. HSR Saber and Archer are the only working ones
Might work on nasu after I'm finished with block tales (I've taken a recent liking to tsukihime especially the remake)

Anyways following but neutral atm (idk a thing about honkai and only have like basic knowledge on fate)
