Dandadan - Speed standard

The speed required to leave the earth doesn't matter. We aren't calculating a kick to space in some massively long timeframe.

We know they travelled over 380,000 kms in the MINIMUM time the plane landed which is about 10 to 25 minitues. Averaging to 20 min we get 359.5 Kilotons of TNT. Coming in at large town level.

Taking it to minimum at 10 min we get 1.4 megaton to small city level.

However one can say with the dialouge that the Kito family couldn't even figure out where they were going as in they didnt get the time to even peek out so in seconds maybe ?

I don't think we were ever shown that they landed right after the plane landed. I think this is wank. It can be higher than my suggestion but definitely not that high. I'll look around and get a higher end.

We are. The plane lands, we see the moon in the shot and then we are shown Kito's already being on the moon.

There is no reason to assume it didn't land around the same time

Blud is Internet Explorer

You were definitely close

I got Massively Hypersonic and 165 kilotons
Yeah well you used 30 minutes. Still much better.

We can debate the time frame. The internet provided timeframe for a plane landing of 10-25 minutes includes the maneuver to the gates and bus routes which is what takes most of the time, not the landing itself.

We end the Earth scene still on the runway. No docking.

Where we end of from the kick to momo getting in the plane happens entirely in freefall so very fast and we were near landing. So 15 minites I can say for the scene.

Now if I wanted to highball I could say it happens Faster that the Kito's could react.

Because for the entire journey they could not checkout they were going to the moon.

But then again they just maybe that stupid that they couldn't understand where they were going considering they think it's somewhere in the boonies.

I disagree, the site I linked carefully explained the process and the plane already stopped by the time they landed on the moon.
Also do account for the fact that they all suck at flying a plane and were detoured by the typhoon which would severely hampen the time they had.

Read the site. Damn my pilot pulled it in 17 minutes during a storm.

Sure massively hypersonic great feat, no complains here.

However we have one more big feat. Evil Gun blowing away a massive storm.

I will try it but complex feats like this are pain in the ass

Thing is he didn't blow it away, Jiji shot a beam that made the water evaporate disrupting the cold-hot cycle of the typhoon and dissipitating it. It's explained in detail in there, disrupting even one of the factors that make a typhoon would dissipitate it all. It's like breaking a column in a castle which in turn causes the castle to collapse.

Why are you only counting the landing time? Evil Eye kicked the shark up while the plane was still mid-flight, didn’t he?
Landing time as in descending + landing.
Also we don't have any other concrete timeframe

We have a timeframe for the travel from Japan to China, which depends on the flight but usually doesn’t exceed around 5 hours. We can estimate that they were halfway through the journey, so we divide the time in half, about 2.5 hours.

Yes he did that but one, we aren't talking about fish tank here, even boiling hundereds of millions of liters of water is a insane feat much less evaporating it. which is not what he does. He mixed the water.

Also the visuals say other wise. He didn't disrupt the typhoon leading to a slow eventual stop, it was instantaous and the force of it destroyed the eye and blew away all the water and clouds. You can literally see that it rotated the water around it

There is a really good KE feat here. I will do a very rouch calc. Jiji mixed the water around the diameter of the eye and the depth of over 200-300m. A typical eye is about 65km in radius so we have a mass of 3.9700227823598E+15kg.

Moving it at the speed of say a whirpoo at 16 mph. 1.0155369683037E+17 or 24 megatons of tnt. which gives us city level AP for both Zuma and Jiji. But the speed is a massive lowball give at the size we are talking about 16 mph is like stiring a 50 liter pot with a table spoon.

If anyone can find estimates for the speed then do it, I will reserach on it later, gotta work.

I am back and I had an idea to calc the speed. So Jiji swirled the cold water below the 100-150m mark with his beam, to mix the water equally we need the 300m deep water to rotate to the surface. So the water came up in about the time the beam lasted.

For the time of the beam we will use 3 seconds, highball, 5 seconds midball and 10 seconds lowball.

3s - 100 m/s | 1.98e19 J - 4732 Megatons - Island

5s - 60 m/s | 7.14e18 J - 1706 Megatons - Large Mountain

10s - 30 m/s | 1.78e18 J - 425 Megatons - Mountain

That’s unlikely. That interpretation assumes that typhoons form right next to land, which isn’t true. When they were fighting, there’s no way they were near the shore. Most typhoons form in the western Pacific Ocean, which is generally far from land. So it would be more reasonable to estimate the distance as somewhere in the middle.

The plane wasn't stuck in the typhoon. They were already out on the other side when momo was falling.

They were near destination. As for the ocean, Izumo is a costal city.

Where they typhoon forms doesn't matter since the serpos teleported it from Phillipines

Honestly, I don’t really care about whether the calculations are right or wrong right now. Either way, the speed of kicking a shark to the moon is obviously way over 100 km/h. And there are already plenty of anime scenes that are far faster than 100 km/h anyway, like when Vamola literally fires lightning and other characters are able to react to it or dodge it, or the movement speed of the giant characters, which is extremely obvious

So what are we supposed to do with the 100 km/h cap? If we wait for every single calculation to be finalized, nothing is ever going to change or it’ll take way too long. At some point, we have to acknowledge what’s clearly shown on-screen and move forward, instead of being hard-stuck on an outdated limit
