My Hero Academia General Discussion Thread #18

ya'll know what time it is (this likely means nothing):devilish:
I mean, the JJK stuff is being accepted isn’t it? Surely this would mean final season stuff at the very least could be applied to the profiles? Even if not, it’s nice to know that Horikoshi gets greater involvement in the final season. Means it’s even closer to his vision for these characters

JJK's anime being canon has rejected like 3 times due to lackluster evidence and rushed CRTs.
Not the best example
💀

IDK man, we have suit might dodging radio waves in the trailer, making radio wave dodging consistent and not just a one-off feat.
Even if Mach 10 is mentioned, it doesn't quite matter.
Plus that was just an answer to a fan question. I personally think he probably just pulled a number that sounded about right out of his ass (plus that only applies to Prime AM’s running speed anyway. Gearshift Deku, Shiggy and I think Bakugo (blitzed Rewind AFO IIRC) have all far surpassed All Might’s speed)

fr fr.
Also, Bakugo surprised and somewhat blitzed Complete shiggy who equals Prime Might so ye, up there.

Shouldn't all MHA Characters have Non-Combat Applicable Fate Manipulation from the Wishing Energy that allows them to Break Fate so long as countless people put their hopes and dreams into you?
Since its not really an individual ability i don't think it's worth adding to every profile.

OPM S3 will be directly competing with MHA S8. Expect butthurt fanboys of the show to complain about opm s1 animators appears in MHA, that season is burnt already. There was a comment about Bones, that the studio that did Mob should adapt OPM.

I told them that Studio B will be exclusively working on Vigilantes. And then came the flood of comments how OPM deserves it way more than MHA.

It's not an individual ability, meaning it's not something anyone can use. It's more like a mechanic of the verse than a power someone possess.

Izuku and Bakugo didn't break fate by themselves, it was everyone in that moment. You can run that same scene, but remove everyone who was watching them, and they would've failed to save All Might just like in Nighteye's vision. That's clearly the implication I'm getting from the scene. Also fits with the theme of the story as well.

However, there is another interpretation. Nighteye in All Might's head isn't real, and it's just a figment of his imagination to keep him going. All Might doesn't know the exact details of that vision, only Nighteye does. It's possible this wasn't the vision Nighteye saw and it was already changed beforehand.

Considering how heavy the scene was, I doubt that's the case... regarding the wishing stuff that is. Nighteye is actually something All Might is imagining, he's not real.

And it being "fate" is iffy as well, since it's just Nighteye's Quirk being wrong. Also doesn't explain how Izuku avoided "dying" to Chisaki. Which I still find really strange. Chisaki stood zero chance of killing Izuku. Did Izuku not try to use Infinite 100% in Nighteye's vision? The wishing energy made him smarter?

Actually, Nighteye's vision including Rewind AFO vs All Might is extremely iffy. He saw All Might's future first, meaning his vision should be one where Izuku is dead. All Might survived because of Izuku, Bakugo, and everyone. If Izuku was dead, I don't even see how this final war even goes down like this.

Without Izuku, Tomura would've killed Endeavor and all of the other heroes at Jaku. That's a massive change. Nothing can be assumed at this point.

It doesn't make sense he'd see a future that depends on Izuku being alive, but later sees him die. Unless we say the future was changed well before the Yakuza Raid?

Izuku surviving throws Nighteye's vision of All Might into wack, assuming AFO ripping him was what he saw. At the end of the day, that information came from All Might's head. Nighteye's words were a personal belief, not a solid foundation on how the world works. We don't have an actual confirmed force of fate that they've defied.

We already know Nighteye can change the future. His Quirk wouldn't work in combat if he couldn't. He just believes he can't change death or someone's end point.

There are far too many questions about this stuff. I don't see how we could label it as anything. I feel like more questions are popping up the more I think about it.

That's my opinion about this. Feel free to agree/disagree. Not going to say anything else as my head is already spinning trying to think about this.

Imagine a alternate timeline where Eri didn't have her quirk or a different quirk. Like sort of Future Trunk's dark timeline. Although this does mean Chisaki never fights Deku since he never stumbles upon the ability to create said drug.

So the true change of the story is the ending, since without Eri Deku doesn't get his arms back and everyone dies at the hands of AFO.

I think Nighteye's future sight cannot predict any changes in the linear time. Eri throws off his vision by making Infinite 100 possible, something not possible without rewinding time.

Although that means he shouldn't be able to see anything about the erasure drugs since they are created with rewind quirk and wouldn't exist in a linear non disrupted timeline.

Ok so apparently there is a wiki that uses this multiplier to get Deku to Moon Level. Is this a valid multiplier Lmao
