and if its considered a dimension isn't that contradictory? because 1-A is beyond dimensions
is it still 1-A if its stated to be a 'higher' dimension/realm

If what is meant by dimension here is spatial dimensions, then yes, it is contradictory. But if what is meant by dimension here is a Realm, then it is not contradictory.

No. A 1-A Realm can just be an Author's World, and that Author's world can be a universe with dimensions.

Depends on the context. If the "dimension" in question is a mathematical dimesnion then I don't think think so. If the term "dimension" is used to refer to a type metaphysical realm or ultimate reality and things of that sort by the media then yes, a dimension can be considered 1-A.
For Example: The dimensions in DC.

The important part is that there must be no continuous system that connects said 1-A dimension to the lower dimensions that are below 1-A

doesn't matter if it's mathematical, higher realms, or higher worlds that it says

What is important is that there is no continuous system that makes it in the same vein as dimensions below it

not really, you can have a 1-A Author World where that world is a space-time dimension, or a 1-A dimension with higher concepts than the below

i genuinly think taking terms used in face value inside a novel and equate it to vsbw term and how this wiki defines in very poor taste.
inside a story, imagination is the only limiting thing and its completely upto how author portrayed those terms inside the given verse is the only thing you need to consider.
so in my opinion, terms like dimensions, higher realm etc can all exist which scales to 1-A for vsdw standard if it fullfills the core meaning itself. DC scaling is the perfect example for "dimensions" being just a decorative term and the actual scaling is way above
