Honkai: Star Rail Discussion Thread

Quite surprising luck for this patch. Tried to get Phainon, stopped pulling last patch when I got Hyacine on hard pity, and the first 10 poll I got Welt, a few more and I got Phainom, then I tried getting his Lightcone and I got on 30 polls (Stopped pulling from then when I got The Herta lightcone two cycles ago), and then with the leftovers I tried to get Sunday since I didn't have him, and I also got him quite soon. Since then, I'm just spending on Sunday's Lightcone to get the 200 polls for the free Archer Lightcone then I'll start saving again.

Wait quick question. So everything except the scratch to Nanook was in the simulation right? Like that wasn’t the real Zephyro?

Pretty sure that is no longer your conventional simulation. They literally said how Phainon broke through the layers that preventing him from interacting with those outside Amphoreus simulation

Intresting. Cause reading As I’ve Written it says that Phainon is merging with Irontomb so I thought that this whole fight and him ultimately losing symbolized that.

tbf given that scepter can simulate literal lord ravagers im sure what happened inside scepters is real too (High 3-A rubert 💀💀💀💀💀💀)
im kinda sure he wasn't simulating lord ravager but incubating one.
and in the Nanook fight. All the antimatter legion came from outside the barrier/layer, so Zephyros is also likely the real one and is outside.

they are likely in the same case as Nameless. Outsiders. The Scepter being able to produce a Lord Ravager by extrapolation is already a big feat that is the main focus rather than it simulating Lord Ravagers.

And Herta basically simulates Aeons from the past in the simulated universe. so I don't think it is anything special to be able to simulate a Lord Ravager as it was already being done by Genius society when they simulate Propagation and its emanators and such

So we all agree that as insane Phainon is....he had to amp himself for literally millions of lifetimes only to barely hold out against Zephyro and could only scratch Nanook's Avatar after burning himself entirely (still crazy) so it something that'd cost his life.

Makes me wonder if Acheron could do something similar utilizing the full power of Nihility (at least what her body can manage).

Aeons true form would be the very concept itself tbh, Nanook wouldn't be able to regenerate supposedly (even though there's like Tayzzyronth who managed to survive even after Qlipoth diluted THEIR concept)

Pretty sure Horizon of Existence which hosts one of IX's manifestations across the cosmos were the result of Acheron being a self-annihilator, I'm honestly unsure though because like eventually Acheron would lose her very existence itself (?) but like even slaining the Aeon of Nihility that doesn't do anything is the same level of useless lmao

Does that mean if you killed an aeon and its path would grant you cm2?
Yk its like how Pochita did from chainsaw man

I know this but did you mean to say Nanook wouldn't regenerate his concept or that he would? I assume you mean if anyone deals conceptual damage and not Phainon specifically.

I'm sure I agree with the notion that the Horizon of Existence is or has manifestation of IX because of her. The issue with Acheron is the notion that she's actually specifically among her kin (which I don't think is substantiated whatsoever). But I do think that even if Self-Annhilators like her could utilize the full scope of their Path it'd literally erase them by doing so.

Yeah logically it should. Unfortunately that can't inherently be granted their Avatars. Its harm to know where they scale at any given moment or even apply past feats without a sizeable amount of assumptions.

If I had a craft any argument to consistently scale the Aeon's Avatars this what it'd be.

We know that Aeon's true selves are concept that exist in a higher dimension (Imaginary Space). Aeon's true forms are completely beyond human comprehension or knowledge therefore they are unknown to all mortals and Pathstriders.

All the feats and statements about Aeons (aside from those specifically referencing their true selves) who logically be referring to THEIR various Avatars which can and have been perceived by mortals.

So, this means that all scaling for the Aeons would be applied to THEIR Avatars.

Something like that.

It's kinda weird because The Blemished One translates to The Wounded One, I don't know where he got the wounds from but given that Nanook cannot regenerate from it shows that whoever did it not only damaged his concept but also negated his regeneration

I think this is a bit of a name fallacy. Nanook is probably called The Blemished One due to his origins, and the scars on Avatar are more likely a figurative representation of how THEY were affected by the destruction of THEIR home.

It was implemented that it got it wound from battle against Aha

Against the cosmic forces that couldn't hold a candle to them, the Supreme Executioner finally recalled
THEIR home world where it was ruled by unjust power...
THEY assembled a force of myriad Voidrangers to demand an answer from THEIR past.
Unfortunately, THEY were met with a surnameless fool guarding the portal.
Wielding a rapier with an extraordinary power, the fool dodged most skillfully
like a slippery fish in a pond or a flash of a falling star.
The Ruin Author did battle with the fool for seven days and seven nights,
and eventually golden ichor seeped out of THEIR divine body.

Oh well there you go. Can I get a source on that, because I didn't know that one.
