Team Fortress General Discussion

Don't know how to accurately apply Inverse Square Law to this,
Calc the explosion's surface area (we would usually calc it as a hemisphere's cap, but with how the explosion looks here, you may or may not be able to get away with making another end that uses the surface area of a cylinder instead, albeit with the bottom base area subtracted from) and destroyed part's area (which shouldn't be too hard since you've already got the radius for that), then divide the explosion's surface area by the destroyed part's area and multiply the result from that by the energy to get your final result. Btw, I recommend reading the first example on the wiki's Inverse Square Law page to get a better understanding.

Just recalculated the old Scout Ayers Rock calculation, and while it's pathetic AP wise, it did net a decent Class 100 LS result.
Imo, I still prefer using the actual size of Ayers rock for that since it being smaller in the comic could probably be explained away by the artists needing to fit it within the panels and/or them not knowing how big it actually was.

Also, it seems like the link to the first pixel scaling scan on there is broken (or at least, it is on my end).

I could do another end with the actual size of Ayers rock

EDIT: Did another version, and got Class G LS, along with High 8-C, to 8-A AP, depending on the end. (honestly, don't know if I like this end)

Do you guys think this Zhanna profile's ready to be uploaded? There's nothing else that I can think of adding other than maybe giving her an actual intelligence rating, but she has little to no feats whatsoever in that department and goes along with a lot of the stuff the Soldier does, which isn't really a good look.
Looks good

Hey guys so Ive been seeing the things that are there for 8-C or higher like the saxton hale calc and realized it hasn't been applied to the verse?

did it get rejected or was it a case that no one has made a CRT for the verse?

Is it actually doing soul stuff or not is the main thing the Mercs only get the gargoyles after Gargoyles and Gravel which in turn is seemingly after Shadow Boxers as it is implied to be the first time Soldier showed Miss Pauling the Tin Soldier costume which he wore in Gargoyles and Gravel. As Shadow Boxers takes place during the robot wars the Mercs actually having souls is questionable.

Soul Absorption, albeit on kill
I don't think it would go too well to propose this idea right now as I'm not sure if it would be accepted

Though question

Looking at feats such as The cow mangler, I would like to question whether if it is possible to use the atomization end as Quantum Entanglement does exist and the statement used could refer to the idea of the cow mangler separating due to the how it can be done in cases of linking atoms. disentanglement would imply the opposite

If the atomization value could be updated as the new and accepted value then there could be more support for 8-B and beyond tf2

The mercs are killing their past selves, or killing past Merasmus to get the souls, so it taking place during the Robot war doesn't really matter. Also, it's not like the Mercs necessarily had their souls removed at the beginning of the war.

I feel like it only being 90% hollow for Ayers Rock is a bit generous given we can see thick the shell is and it seems at most a few inches thick

funny men with funny hats fights an calamity with a funny hat

Do we have a list of all calcs and feats calced (Evalulated or not)?

Because Ive seen some people have a sandbox for verses showcasing all feats and calcs that are either in the verse page already or are made but not evaluated to keep track

So far, we've got these 8-C, or higher calcs:

Evaluated/Accepted:
Not Evaluated:
Might try doing the Jungle Inferno roof explosion at some point; If we used Inverse Square Law, we could probably get decent results.
I did the Jungle Inferno roof explosion, and got around 8-C i think.

There's also this: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/U...tress_2:_Scout_Moves_Ayers_Rock_Recalculation

TF2 is GOATED. Contact me if you need any feats calced.
True

also from what I understand, we have a good amount of calcs ranging for Tier 8 however all of them from what I know are in evaluation hell so its basically hard to get them evaluated

though there could be potential calcs to be made but im unsure

For the calcs evaluated I might do the CRT Tomorrow since I have a good amount of time to work on it and most of the calcs seem good and are consistent (majority in Tier 8-C to 8-C+ so future calcs that get beyond like 8-B to 8-A could become valid since a good amount are in Tier 8

Not sure for Tier 7 but it could happen potentially for more powerful guys like Saxton Hale, That yeti, Merasmus, etc

Alright so to figure out stats and scaling does this seem accurate going by feats

Physicals
Weapons
  • Vaporizing Robots (8-C+) (Mercs w laser weapons scale ap wise to this, Hale should scale to this aswell since he can tank stuff like this in the gamemode alongside the yeti he killed who Iirc has that statement
  • Manmelter Atomization (8-C) (Same level of scaling as the first one)

Calcs that could have some people debate against but we could potentially score with
  • Scout moves the ayer rock (Not evaluated yet, but if its accepted and the 8-A result is the best one then we do need more feats and calcs under the range of 8-B to 8-A to justify because there were times where verses got rejected for Ap upgrades due to only one feat in one tier and most are below. So I do want to get atleast one or two more in 8-B to 8-A to get there (Hale scales above via oneshotting scout so we could get the next feat in)
  • Subatomic Disintegration (Pomson/Manmelter) (7-B+) (Similar Issue to where we might need more feats to backup but if weapons can be a tier above the mercs physically we can use this since laser weapons do tend to scale higher, also saxton hale scales above since hes a boss)
  • Cow mangler inverse square law (A good supporting feat for this level of power but I think we should work more to get to that tier)

Overall I do want to work with a CRT for the accepted feats in physicals in weapons since it is consistent and it should get the ball rolling. for the feats like the ayers rock, subatomic, etc I think we should add them to another CRT to further upgrade the verse, how does that sound guys?
