According to the game account, this game will be used to expand the world of Kaiju No. 8, even referring to it as a canon expansion, so I propose that whilst the main story in the manga will obviously take precedent, anything from within the game can be used as long as it doesn’t contradict the manga. This makes sense as the manga didn’t have the chance to explore every aspect thus the game is likely here to fill in those missing gaps
