Grappler Baki: Ap Upgrade

Agree
Although, iirc poseidon did this feat by sinking the island, it wasnt an explosion, but maybe it also made one.

1)You can also add my version of this calculation. It gave High 7-C. I'm not insisting, but it was accepted and the result is more consistent against the very old feat of 7-C
2)This should only scale to Top Tier, namely those who scale to Yujiro in Baki Dou.

3)I have some doubts about using issekai, but I won't make a thread about it anytime soon, if at all.
So far it looks ok

I'll use my own 7-C calculation.

Ok I fixed it

Okay.

That means the OG series is canon to the Isekai, which I never put into doubt. But it is not evidence that it goes both ways.

Retsu talks about the events in Baki: Son of Ogre and Baki Dou, so that’s enough for it to be considered canon.

You're confusing what Armor is saying. Retsu until proven otherwise is one way canon. It considers the story of Baki canon to itself, but that does not mean that it is canon to Baki. You would have to prove that the manga considers it canon for that to work.

Itagaki is one of the people credited as the author of the story.
"... while Keisuke Itagaki and Sai Ihara are credited for the original story"

Did you not read this or did you expect me not to read this?

Yep

"... while Keisuke Itagaki and Sai Ihara are credited for the original story"
Did you? Let’s see the full quote:

“Murai is drawing the manga, while Keisuke Itagaki and Sai Ihara (Daisuke Ihara) are credited for the original story.”

I don’t even know how you can misinterpret this, it’s obvious that it’s saying that the story being drawn by Eiji is an original by Itagaki. Reading comprehension ig.

Despite that, I’d agree that there isn’t enough evidence to prove it’s definitely canon to the Baki manga.

At best, it’d be a “possibly”.

Itagaki was reading about the plan for the third installment of Four Together Van Horse Blades.
In “The Brave and the Courageous Van Horse Blade”, the father-son fight between Blade and Isaburo Van Horse was written by the teacher himself.
The challenge. The famous promotional phrase for the Blade series. In front of the teacher whose face was obviously covered with blame and whose mind was constantly not in a clear aura, “A desperate Kurashige was mobilized,” he said.
“Started a desperate rush!!!”
Itagaki teacher of the book, a layer of haze. Seeing such an expression, he repeated the phrase “desperate haste”. Why is the project feasible? This is a mood that radiates like a fierce blade!

I thought it would be hopeless! I can't help but empathize with the feelings I had at that time.
In the end, the teacher showed an expression that seemed absolutely impossible to say “yes”. To Mr. Itagaki, I thought, "But I still want to see it! I want to see the King of the Sea!!!!" So here we go. The last resort. Unauthorized start!!!!"

Seems almost illegal to me..

It's common practice to credit original mangaka for spinoff they aren't writing. With that said, I admit I misunderstood "original story", although I don't think your tone is warranted.

I would assume that this is humorous in nature, and not exactly what happened. It does show that this guy is the one actually writing the story, and only gets Itagaki's approval, though (Not that who's writing it is really relevant to canonicity, honestly).

It chinese, not jp. My friend send me origin of this image and translation aswell. After all it was only chief's thoughts and Itagaki at that time wasn't saying yes or no. ANY Baki media admitts that Isekai is the part of Baki series

In order to obtain permission to publish the manga about rebirth in another world, Kao Retsu (烈海王), the editor-in-chief went to Mr. Itagaki's workplace, located somewhere in Tokyo.
"Mr. Itagaki, can we reincarnate Kaoru in another world?"
"There's nothing we can do about it. All right, I give my permission."
There were times when I dreamed of this dialogue.
Baki Hanma's reckless challenge. In the third part of the Baki series, titled "Hanma Baki," which depicts a father-son quarrel with Yujiro Hanma, Mr. Itagaki himself wrote the famous slogan: "The launch of despair, beginning with complete unpreparedness!!!"
Itagaki-sensei reads the manuscript. His expression becomes increasingly gloomy.
Seeing this, the same phrase flashes through the editor's mind again: "A desperate attempt, starting from a state of complete unpreparedness."
Why did I think it would work? Of course, it was impossible!!!
Standing in front of a man exuding a terrifying aura, I fully understood how Baki must have felt back then.
Itagaki-sensei's expression had completely changed—now he definitely wouldn't say "okay." But still... I thought:
"But I want to read this!!! I want to see Retsu!!!"
So I'm starting.
As a last resort.
I'm starting without official permission!!!

So, it's no canon?

"Part of the series" does not mean it's canon. I don't think anyone is denying that the Dragon Ball anime or games (or the movie...) are part of the Dragon Ball series.

Baki is the brand itself, like Baki Daima is the official product and had merch, but SERIES means spin-offs(literally "side-story") and few parts of original series. Baki Daima being a satire manga isn't part of the series while Isekai is

That's a very specific interpretation of wording that isn't even spelled out anywhere, I was just responding to that post (which brought no evidence to substantiate that specific claim). If you'd like to argue this point I would ask for actual evidence of this being the case.

But honestly no, not really. A "series" is a pretty vague concept and can even refer to things that don't have an existing canon, like documentaries, or can be strict enough to exclude any kinds of spin-offs (it definitely doesn't MEAN spin-offs that's for sure) which would instead be considered secondary media/expanded universe regardless of canonicity.

Look at it this way, a term like "the Star Wars series" includes all SW media, including non-canon stuff, or it just involves the movies and nothing else, there's no easy way to draw a line in the middle ground.
