All Purpose Dragon Ball Thread

The Soul manipulation thread is giving me deja vu.

My thread where I proposed Everyone getting absorption Resistance with barriers, but got rejected with very poor reasoning, with only Vegito getting It.

I still salt over It.

3 tabs and no one was able to come up with a counterargument

They take a tiny part of a large elaboration and ignore the rest
 
Since dragon ball super is dead, Toyotaro could do a spin-off about Bardock telling stories about him before he died and things like that, it would be really interesting to follow other DB characters or he could do a spin-off of Trunks travelling to different timelines.

Game perhaps, animation or manga can forget that it won't come back because there are these fights, i can say the same for films.

We're almost at the end of the year and there's no news about it, all we know is that Toyotaro is going to make a new manga and nothing about DB

Just to give you an idea, it took a year to get Bersek back after the creator died, and even then there were long hiatuses without a manga or anything like that, and i can say the same for DB, if you play around for another 20 years without anything new, and when this fight is over maybe there will be a continuation.

They definitely won’t come back anytime soon but to say they won’t come back at all is simply absurd, check your sources wherever you’re getting them from

Berserk and Dragon Ball are handled by the completely different companies??? Them being both animes means nothing, this comparison is extremely loose

Fights over rights can last for years and even without one side winning, DBS can't come back because of rights and a possibility that is happening.

Although they are different works, they have practically the same events about the author and we know how Dragon Ball is at this very moment, with no possibility of any return

I forgot that Bersek was back, but he wasn't fighting over any rights to the franchise, but it's still a good comparison

It’s a possibility but an extremely minor one at that, and you treat it like it’s a definitive thing. You really think Toei will pass up on a franchise this big just because they can’t adapt the manga

It’s not a good comparison in any way, the only connection is that both were at a pause when the author died and they’re an anime which doesn’t contribute to anything, DB’s companies still want to make content but are having issues over rights, this never happened to Berserk

I don't think it's extremely minor, there's a great possibility of this happening because of copyright, the problem isn't Toei but who's left who has the rights to DB won't let Toei do as they please and that's why the possibility of DBS coming back are few

I used a good comparison and Bersek is also very famous, Toei has other anime like one piece and DB until today has not had its remaining arcs of the manga being adapted even during when Akira toriyama was still alive, it does not show wanting to make a continuation for DBS anytime soon, just to give you an idea Akio Iyoku had to make a separate company to create a new anime for dragon ball and only then had something new, Toei only cares about money, but it is not willing to bring the arcs of the manga to be adapted.

Not that i wanted the end of DB, but for me i can no longer see the possibility of continuing.

Berserk is famous but it’s not Dragon Ball famous get real. Having one other anime on par with Dragon Ball’s success won’t be enough to just forget the IP entirely
