Unpopular Opinions and (Friendly) Rant thread

Yall remember when this was a thread about unpopular opinions? Me neither. Anyway I think men should be able to wear skirts/dresses without being judged, same way women can wear pants
Skirts should be commonplace for guys

Aren't they scientifically better anyways because we need to cool our balls for proper production and that simply does not happen in jeans

What's up with girls hogging the skirt department anyways
We should probably just all wear skorts (or maybe for long pants we need a hybrid of skirts and trousers/sweatpants/trackpants) and other unisex hybrid clothing, as long as they can accomodate to all body types. Definitely depends on how much or how little of the body one wishes to cover/conceal or display/reveal as well.

(Sorta want CBRN suits or space suits for hazardous/hostile climates like deserts, mountains etc so we can go literally anywhere on Earth (and even space should commercial space travel become more common) and still be relatively safe but not sure if there'd be a way to incorporate armour and life-preserving measures into everyday clothing and fashion that would help protect the full body but be ergonomic, comfortable and easy to put on and take off at the same time... and also be aesthetically attractive welp.)

Skorts are useless for guys, the point of wearing a skirt is to air our your balls

At that point just wear shorts instead

Wonder what's it gonna take for edits and new messages to be real-time... (I keep having to reload pages to see new edits, messages, notifs, etc welp, it's that or view them 10 minutes after they're actually posted)

What other types of balls exist?

The cat isn't protruding outside the body so probably isn't that problematic?
Girls atleast seem more comfortable than guys imo
I purposely left it open to include both "sports'" balls and the "private part" balls (same goes for the "animal" cat and the "private part" cat) (yes the sports balls need to be pumped and cleaned as well)

I'm not sure how open the forum is to talking about the parts by their actual names so I'm just taking extra precaution welp

Not just airing out, imo. Skorts/shorts have less range of motion compared to a skirt.

I very rarely wear skirts, the time I usually grab them is when i'm doing DIY work around the house, honestly. Inseams just hold me back when i'm basically rock climbing on my furniture to spackle a hole in the ceiling! 😂

I think that Mahek just reacted to that Homie890 made a statement about doing something potentially life-threatening. Given that Mahek seems to be autistic, he took it literally, got worried, and wanted to warn about the consequences. I think that he seemed to mean well. 🙏

Never mind. I saw some of Mahek's preceding posts here, not just his one deleted post.

Considering that, I think that he should remain thread-banned.

Btw: Among other things, I am also autistic. I did not mean any offence. Going by my experience, both personally and by what I have read, autistic people tend to usually be highly empathetic, and also have tendencies to be literalminded, ocd-ish, and rather socially incompetent, so I thought that might be what was in effect here. 🙏

This hits close cause I just applied for my first job, they send me an email asking some questions, I answer and then they just haven't responded for a whole week despite answering within a few hours the first time. Like assuming I got rejected why not just tell me that? Why keep me in the dark constantly checking my emails incase they've answered

I believe due to information I know about them (they sent a friend request on Discord yesterday), they were parroting an old wives' tale that is common in their country. I actually messaged them on Discord to hopefully provide them correct information as, while it is not an appropriate topic for here, I do want to help dispel the misinformation for them. I also believe they meant well- but that their struggles to remain appropriate make the thread-ban sensible.

I have a certification in cpr and personability.... These employers grinding my gears.....

And ty to everyone that shared their employer horror stories or whatnot, i "love" hearing about them.

Also while i'm here just wanna say that tipping culture in the u.s blows. Just enables employers not to pay employees. A source of income should NEVER be the responsibility of a customer.

They just wanna see if everything matches I guess?

Alot of times in my experince whatever service/platform they use to take in job apps is very old and cant read resumes well, or there HR just doesnt want to change systems.

Most the time some AI is reading your resume before it gets to any humans eyes's. looking for certain keywords and phrases that some HR person put in as minuim requirments, often times disconnected from the job they are hiring for. So its become an arms race of people using AI to better get AI to pick it out and read it and companies using AI to filter out resumes...
