You misunderstand me because I'm saying these characters should be added to the list, under their respective categories. I'm not saying any of them are aro/ace. I'm saying there are other LGBTQ MegaTen characters in general who are better queer representation than Stephen. Elizabeth explicitly shows romantic feelings to both versions of the protagonist (Makoto and Kotone), and if you're excluding her on the basis that she isn't necessarily human, Stephen shouldn't be here, either, which leads me to my next point.
This is factually untrue. It's directly stated by the developers that he achieved a "Budda-like" state, which represents not only a complete detachment from any worldly/human emotions but also some degree of ontological ascension (hence Stephen "glimpsing" a portion of The Great Reason). My overall point being:
1. Stephen is too transcendent of humanity to meaningfully ascribe sexuality unto him.
2. You have no proof of Stephen's sexuality before his ascension.
3. There are better Megami Tensei characters who are deliberately and explicitly stated to be queer who would be better fit for this list.

So being a proto-buddha or buddha-like doesn't nullify by itself that you're human. Also, this was put onto him, so we can't say if by that he abandons all emotions and etc, just that he's enlighted by accessing knowledge from the highest being (and its presence).
If he was supposed to be entirely like Buddha, why is he testing the Messiahs in a fight instead of telling them to seek non-violence (one of the main principles of buddhism, which funny enough was the solution for the dethrone of YHVH in 4A lol)? Why would he make the Demon Translating/Summoning program to spread undescriminately instead of teaching people how to do this with demons and to use it in righteous ways (important to mention that he risk that people kill demons, other human beings or themselves by giving them the access to this tool, when killing and harming is something Buddhism doesn't accept in any way)

TL;DR I extended myself a bit to argue that being buddha-like is more a parallel of the powers he tapped into, and that his knowledge and wisdom are transcendental (and his soul ig) but not that he's unhuman or that he's a deity or that he's a Buddha, properly said.
I, again, couldn't find any limitations for how many characters of said verse can be present, so I really don't know why you keep saying this when you can just put them there

Citing a Google search AI summary is laughable, but, no, this is not accurate to Megami Tensei, necessarily. Numerous Buddhas and Bodhisattva are present in the series as Demons. But this isn't really pertinent to the argument at hand because-
-becoming Buddha-like or transcending reality in such a way (as Stephen did) implies an ontological change which involves the dissolution of the "self" (at least as conceived by humans). Your explanation doesn't make sense because of these implications of what "enlightenment" means within the context of the series; it's not merely gaining knowledge of/from a higher power. There's an evident shift in the perception of the self and how one interacts with the world, including their own desires, that happens at such a level.
Why are you spreading blatantly false information about a religion? Within Mahayana Buddhism, the main inspiration for MegaTen's depiction of Buddhist concepts, non-violence is obviously the idea and is considered a virtue, but violence is situationally permitted if the intention behind it was contemplated and not born from personal animosity or gain. There are also situations in which violence may be permitted if it ultimately benefits humanity as a whole and saves more than it injures. (In one past life, the Buddha killed a thief in order to protect the lives of the five hundred merchants onboard a ship he captained.) This is precisely what Stephen did when he introduced the Demon Summoning Program to the people of Tokyo.
My overall point is that Stephen doesn't qualify as a queer character, period. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest he was aro/ace before his ascension, and it would be problematic to say that a Buddha-like figure who deliberately transcended humanity is a genuine aro/ace representation for reasons I really hope I don't have to explain.

I appreciate it. That being said, Tatsuya Suou and Kotone Shiomi are canonically bi. I think Tatsuya is the stronger of the two under current standards, but everything is undergoing revisions, anyway, so it doesn't matter which one you choose tbh.

Would Rimuru Tempest count for transgender and agender? I’m not an expert on the series by any means, but if he legitimately starts to identify with being genderless upon reincarnating as a slime as apposed to just being sexless yet still identifying as a man, then it should count right?

As the link itself says, it depends on how you interpet their relationship. I was originally going to nominate Pelinal for bisexual, but his romantic love for Huna is more solidified compared to Alessia. Some in-game text states that Pelinal's love for St. Alessia was that of familial affection rather than a romantic one.

All Homestuck trolls are by default bisexual, which should include Aradia Megido (1 layer into High 1-A) however I'm not sure about this one because of this
Dirk Strider (2 layers into High 1-A as Ultimate Self) is gay
The same applies to Rose Lalonde except she's bisexual I think.
Davepetasprite^2 is High 1-A and nonbinary.

almost all of these seem fine (even if I'm a bit hesitant including species which are naturally bisexual but for now I'll do it). Mind if you show any proof of Rose being bi? just to be sure.
