Okay so this is mostly a "comedic" vent, y'know, if you want to derive a take from it, that's up to you, I just want you to know, the shit that is happening rn.. This is the definition of insanity. I might make upgrade threads for these characters in the future MAYBE, if shit doesn't improve that is.

I join the wiki again after a while, I know the current wiki stats are apeshit but whatevs. I start working on my first new page, new research 'n' all, it's for Escapade, pretty fun new X-Men character with a cool gimmick who also happens to be trans (coincidentally the page was released on trans visibility day, so yay). Easy page I thought, power was a bit hard to frame so I thought that was the extent of difficulty I'd face.

Boy I was wrong.

Turns out, Escapade has a feat that works on ******* Blackheart of all people, implying her thing might be higher-D because the way the stats are currently set. Add to the depression, there is pretty damn high likelihood due to the WTF scaling and context in lore, it might be the Low 1-C key. I decide to just settle for the 3-C, I'll let future headaches deal with it.

Escapade's speed stat was tied to a small-ish villainess Skullbuster, who didn't have a page at the time. Basic ass claw cyborg chick with a design that looks straight out of the 90s, basic ******* shit, right? And it was surely going that way, basic villain with your usual ESP, Natural Weaponry combo, but lo and behold, she had to have a feat where it very much looks like, she blows out adamantium which trapped Wolverine, overtime. Adamantium, if we go by Wolverine's profile, IS LIKELY LOW 1-C. At the absolute least, this chick, who nearly died and blew out all of her energy climbing a ******* mountain, has enough energy to do a Low 1-C Mattterhax feat. In the words of Tllmbrg, Journey to the West-ass mountain.

I have been a long-term supporter of Marvel, current system in use is honestly just derived from the system I proposed.

I have made around 100-ish Marvel pages.

40 of them have some form of scaling to tier 1s.

This number used to be 5.

Rest of the 35 as far as I have read ad followed of them, most of them still think Spider-Man can do shit against them in-canon.

I long for the days of post-nut clarity actually activating at some point.

I read Escapade in avengers academy for what I understood her power is basically reality warp that allows her to switch anything from simple things such as powers or places to complex things like abstract stuff like ideas and such, and it was shown that her powers are godlike and she is just using a fraction of the real power normally so I'm not sure how much of that actually applies to AP, but she sure is a Smurfy Smurf.

The godlike part was through the properties of the realm in that finale tho :v

From what I remember the only thing the realm helped was with the "proximity" and even then Reed implied that it might have more to do with her emotions making her close to a person that made it possible.

All I see is Yap.

Settling for possibly to likely Low 1-C to be safe is probably the best bet based on the scaling. Inconsistency will be here and there but that's the nature of comics.
