Combat Initiation makes repeated mentions of "
Roblox" and "
Robloxia" which makes me unsure if it can have profiles because it is very clearly basing itself off of Roblox and Roblox's IPs. a
Drakkobloxxer enemy named after the one from
this game,
one of the enemies is literally just stated to wield the
XLS Mark II Laser Pulse Pistol gear, there's an entire game mechanic called "gears" that are
literally just Roblox gears for the most post (although they function vastly different).
Roblox games are allowed because the blocky r6/r15 models could just be implicated as a style of avatar that most developers use considering it's the easiest one to go with + supports Roblox avatars (which makes them more money because Roblox's algorithm likes to pick games that allow for you to use your own Roblox avatar over forced avatars like in Deepwoken or Arcane Odyssey). Some games like
Combat Warriors will use classic maps such as Crossroads, but those are usually just done as throwbacks to that game and don't have too much of an implication on the game's lore.
I would say it
might be able to have profiles because 1). Roblox lets people mention the platform/base games off of itself and use gears in their game without fear of takedown and 2). it puts its own spin on the shit it's based off of (the Great Drakkobloxxer isn't the exact version it was in Survive the Drakkobloxxer, it's literally a giant primordial death dragon that does cool shit). There really isn't any existing lore/scaling it's basing itself off of when it's basing itself off of Roblox because Roblox already doesn't have any lore. It's not like Forsaken where the shit it's based off of are characters from other games/media entirely (
Guest 1337's page literally states that Forsaken takes place after Part 1 of The Last Guest), the literal Jason Vorhees is in Forsaken too.
