Yo fellas, this is out of nowhere, but I had this thought in mind. If we already do then nevermind, but would it be insane to upscale Gaia Colossus and Perfect Dark Gaia above Unleashed Super Sonic?
The main and probably only reason is the fact that Super Sonic can't power through the shield that Dark Gaia makes and has to destroy the dragon heads to bring it down to them help Chip. On the other hand Gaia Colossus can power through the shield and of course Dark Gaia made the shield.
One thing that some may bring up as something to go against Gaia Colossus scaling above Super Sonic is the fact Dark Gaia is constantly beating up the Gaia Colossus and Sonic has to come in and save Chip, but honestly I would chuck that up to two things. The first (and minor thing) being that this is the first time Chip is actually fighting someone, so he likely just isn't good at it and is practically a noob (I know Light Gaia has fought Dark Gaia many times prior, but Chip is both Light Gaia and also his own new person to an extent, so I do think it can explain his not too impressive display against Dark Gaia since this is basically like a new person with Light Gaia's powers), and the second (and major thing) being that throughout the fight, Dark Gaia is focusing almost exclusively on the Gaia Colossus instead of Sonic. It recognizes that the Gaia Colossus is it's archenemy, so it's focusing it's efforts on taking it down so as to win this cycle, while Sonic in it's eyes is just a strong and fast outsider that's interfering, so it only puts a bit of focus on him.
And another reason I think of this is because of the fact that despite Dark Gaia focusing way more on Gaia Colossus so as to destroy it, Sonic still winds up being tired at the end (even goes unconscious as well) even though he wasn't getting assaulted as much as Chip, while Chip is still seemingly unwinded at the end of the fight despite how much of a pummeling he was getting throughout the confrontation.
So Super Sonic has to put in immense effort to help Chip (since I think Chip is a combat newbie) and deal the finishing blow and still ends up winded despite not being Dark Gaia's main focus and he is unable to brute force his way through the barrier while Gaia Colossus can do so and directly gets manhandled throughout the fight, constantly getting beat up unlike Super Sonic, and is still seemingly fine at the end, not even winded.
Also small thing, isn't Dark Gaia one of the small group of bosses that can directly harm Super Sonic? So that's a pretty impressive feat in it's own right.
So honestly, with all this, I would argue Dark Gaia~Gaia Colossus> Unleashed Super Sonic (heck because of being able to be harmed, is winded and passes out at the end, and can't brute force through the barrier and is genuinely impressed that Chip can do so, maybe I would argue they're above even Full Power Unleashed Super Sonic)
If I'm wrong in all of this or if we already do this scaling then oh well lol, just wanted to bring this up as it was something I was thinking about at work.
