Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken Discussion Thread 20

Based on the context of the translated passages, Void (虚無, Kyomu) in this setting appears to be more than just "nothingness." Here's a breakdown of its implied meaning:

### 1. Conceptual Erasure
Void is described as something that consumes even "information particles" (情報子), which likely represent the metaphysical blueprints of existence—like data that encodes identity, memory, matter, or even soul. So Void doesn’t just destroy matter or energy, it erases the very information that something ever existed, transcending time and space.

### 2. Anti-Existence
Void functions as a pure negative force, the opposite of life force (positive energy). When it comes into contact with life, the two cancel each other out. This makes Void not just a destructive force, but the counter-concept of being itself—like an absolute zero to existence's flame.

### 3. Pre-Existence Chaos
It is said to embody "the chaos before Hell was born," suggesting that Void predates all structures of reality, morality, or even death. In that sense, Void is primordial entropy—the raw, undivided nothingness before creation took shape.
The TL i got
"It's true that having taken a direct hit from the Void, the current body—soul included—will be completely annihilated. However, for Twilight, who can regenerate completely, it was ultimately meaningless.

The Void consumes even 'infons' (information particles).
To be precise, it erases the information written onto those infons. Even information that is synchronized instantly across time and space—if the infon itself is interfered with...
Then what lies beyond the collapse of Hell’s abyss—or rather, the chaos before Hell was born—can be said to be the true nature of ‘Void Collapse.’"
Then true nep 1 would be void and then nep 2 will be God (i should probably abandon every notion to hax upgrade god rn)

I'm beginning to wonder if the posters here actually even LIKE Tensei Slime at all.
It's almost like we're not trying to be stupid tiktok users who wank every Light Novel character and or any character from any media through logic that actively demeans the characters being written and we are actively fans of while being brainrotted like children who ain't even finish high school

I honestly despise these type of slime fans, they just come here, tell us rimuru is outer and buzz off to another realm, its like they don't even understand how the series work at all. Note to self—i knew 5D for everyone was a silly idea, but its not for the whole cosmology, regardless why i am not hating the downgrades, i knew astral will face judgment and bring this community with him, he started opening a billion threads per second and it got to alot of staffs, not just the people that originally dislike the series, kicking start a board that will set things right. The supporters are their own problems (recent supporters anyway) OG ones like community gamer, Code, the cat guy, peak, dread (i guess) we would've gotten far a little

I don't really care about all of this powerscaling stuff beyond finding it interesting from time. I just find the condescending wagon circling and treating anything not expressively okay'd by some vague higher power of mods to be super weird when this entire site is all just schoolyard stuff about which nerd fiction character you Stan the most can beat the others.

Frankly I find that shit significantly MORE damaging to the community and series as a whole than anything else done.

Then you'd be more than on the wrong type of thinking cause that is self-contained and handled over the literal majority of people who me and mizuki just described being much bigger than this inner-circle

May I know who made the cosmology blog and who was responsible for this scan addition to it?

This was a scan that Jozaysmith put into the profiles to scale the Ramiris labyrinth, but there was no reference and when I realized link also broken. I re-made this scan while work on discussion rule application.

Now, can you tell me why you're asking this?
Just wanted to know who mixed different chapters scenes and made that up. If it's Jozaysmith then it can't be helped. That beach scene Rimuru was in has nothing to do with Labyrinth at all. Checked the chapter multiple times that's entirely a different event in the manga.

I haven't read that spinoff, but this topic seems is important, can you explain it exactly?

Chapter 22 is a different beginning and different event.

Chapter 21 is the one which got statement for Labyrinth stuff. And its event is also different thing.

Besides nowhere it was stated that beach exist inside the labyrinth as there is neither the floor was mentioned like Chapter 21 nor Ramiris was present like in Chapter 21 when they were having a blast.

Nice find lmao. I said this when I first joined this thread, but I plan on going through all of the manga canon down the line after I'm caught up on the LN. Seems a good bit of the verse needs a relook

Well, on some sites you have this one numbered as ch22, so that's probably the reason for the mistake

The sky in both episodes looks very similar. Also, Tempest is landlocked/shoreless country. So I'm not as sure as you that this place isn't in the labyrinth.

I'll do a research, that chapter is different from what you showed

They occasionally due visit Lake Siss/Sisu in some chapters so it could be that.

Also not to mention the so called starry scene is in the morning on the beach. Which makes no Senses. So it wasn't starry sky anyways but solar sparkles lens effect. Artistic choice to show sunny morning.

We can see same sky in evening with no stars at all,

So yeah. Doesn't makes sense to show stars in the bright morning.

Outside the labyrinth

Not seeing much difference. Maybe artist choice.
Also, Tempest is landlocked/shoreless country.
Can't they just go to the sea?
So I'm not as sure as you that this place isn't in the labyrinth.

Ramiris is present in the event which was happening inside her labyrinth.
We also have her appearance in chapter 23. Don't see why Fuse would skip her if it was inside her labyrinth and why there is no floor information

Couldn't this be because it was mentioned in the previous section?
Ramiris is present in the event which was happening inside her labyrinth.
She may not have gone to the beach, that doesn't tell us anything.
Can't they just go to the sea?
Also, Tempest is landlocked/shoreless country. So
Correcting, Although outside the Jura Forest, Tempest has a far shore.
So actually it is possible.

why is a star somehow what will downgrade ts, uhhh, y'all pmo, i have raws i could use from volume 21 and OTL usage of volume 17

Anyways... question about Food Chain. Does Rimuru's power increase automatically whenever his subordinates get stronger, or does he need to actively draw on their power through it? Seems like the latter to me but curious on thoughts
