MHA Extra Special Epilogue One-shot AKA "Deku Glazing the One-shot"

It even goes through the trouble of specifying that it's him RUNNING at full power. In case you were wondering if the context of All Might never moving at 100% on foot applies... well, it's irrelevant. Mach 10 is as fast as he's gonna go, it seems.

Now, that being said... again, still travel speed. Having to move and accelerate nearly 600 pounds of pure super powered ass to Mach 10 is a lot harder then trying to play a game of sub relativistic boxing. In other words... he could probably punch a lot faster than this.

And also Deku. Just Deku and Gearshift primarily. We know that Gearshift is at least faster than this by a couple of orders of magnitude, and when you stack Fajin on top of that... It's not hard to see Deku reaching sub-rel. Idk, I'd have to check some scaling and any of the calcs you guys have done while I ****** off for a total of 2 years.

I see Deku has a grappling hook reminiscent of Blackwhip just like All Might had with his suit. I think Deku's suit is basically just a better version of All Might's tbh.
 
Think people are putting too much stock in Hori statement...most authors don't intend on their characters being 10,000s of thousands of times faster than sound and light. Most other authors would likely cap their characters are reasonable speeds too

There's a big difference between what an author intends and what powerscalers come up with by analyzing feats. That's the entire point of power scaling,

All Might being able to run at 10s of times mach speeds would still put him above like 90% of characters if you disregard power scaling all together because there are barely any other characters that can literally zip across dozens of miles in a few minutes.

Hori isn't wrong but I don't think his statement should have much weight to how it impacts versus forums and power scalers.

Again people stop doom posting the statement is made for All Mights Running speed as far as travel goes, we've got no reason to cope. His run speed doesn't discredit any of his feat where he's jumping long distances quickly or any of deku's feats either

The statement is more than likely correct.

First it asks how fast All Might ran in his prime which is at hypersonic which is already very fast for movement speed.

(it's also not asking flight/leaping speed which is how All Might travels most of the time. But this might be cope).

But still transonic Iida is another huge evidence for this since even at just those speeds, Iida was shattering everything along the way just by passing by so the laws of physics clearly apply. All Might himself has said he did not use 100% to move for this very reason because of the collateral damage that would cause.

I can even guarantee that for that Mach 10, it was definitely not in cities or populated areas but somewhere depopulated.

Also don't forget that even for someone like Six who easily had hypersonic+ perception of time, his actual running speed was barely supersonic. Both he, Koichi, and KD at different points considered supersonic attacks to be almost un-dodgeable (even though they could dodge them).

At most the only quirk that could get some really fast movement speed arguments is Gear Shift since it is said to ignore the laws of physics.

This was expected. Writers absolutely ruin speed scaling. This goes for any guide, even Invincible would be capped to mach 10 (in atmosphere) given the guide book states this in allen's page.

I'm just satisfied to be personally vindicated, even if nothing necessarily changes with the profiles themselves due to VSBW standards.

Doesn’t Bakugo blitz prime AFO though? Who should have similar reaction speed to prime All Might? There’s also Deku travelling faster than Nagant’s bullets with Faux 100% which is about Mach 100 and he states he can travel at similar speeds when going to Okuto Island as well.

I mean no one is traveling at SoL in MHA anyways😭😭 the current feats we scale Sub-Rel to Rel+ are both in reaction to stuff and same with some of the lower stuff it happens as like burst speed (Iida) or combat like 5% deku dodging gunfire (granted Iida one might need to be looked at differently)

Even in the new movie deku flying through the slow time thing should be very much MHS+ and that was done with Fa Jin which we saw with him traveling to the flying fortress isn't lasting him nearly that entire flight, just means we should seperate burst speeds from long distance travel speeds but it shouldn't change any combat or reaction feats since the statement literally is about him just running

Honestly bursts of speed like quick sprints or the power required for jumping fits All Mights style anyways, so I'm not too mad about it

Mach 10 is still crazy fast anyways

I don't speak nor read Japanese, so I have no idea whether or not the 出る here is read as "to get to", "to exceed", or "to be produced".
I'm just making a rough estimation.

The statements pretty blatant about movement speed. Speed of combat might be debatable I guess… But considering Prime All Might’s speed is incredibly hyped up and Horikoshi flat out states his best speed is Mach 10… I mean that’s pretty damning

See and this is why in my lore, I just straight up say people move faster than light and have them flat out obliterate stars

Idk most fiction tends to have low travel speed. I guarentee despite combat speeds most verses have less than Transonic ~ Supersonic travel speeds for characters and consider that a pretty big deal, hell even Dragon Ball didn't get really good travel speeds until the Cell Arc and Buu Saga or even take someone like Superman in like young justice he scales to Supersonic+ bullet feats but is said not be able to accelerate to mach 1 flight speed on a dime yet that doesn't make his reactions and combat feats invalid


I'd say be glad its only for travel tbh since that's like every fictions least impressive stat usually is travel
