Hello everyone, I have a problem with creating character profiles. I don't know how to establish keys, where these keys represent different character levels, abilities, and attack powers. I’m not sure how to create these keys can anyone offer some advice?

"Key: For characters who have transformation stages/power-ups or who become stronger through certain points of the story, insert those transformations/power-ups/timelines here in bold."

Here's some example of character keys:

Mario: Key: Base | Power Star | Empowered by Dreamy Luigi

Mario has a couple keys, covering the notable power-ups he gains in terms of statistics

Goku: Key: Beginning of Z | Post-North Kai Training | Post-Gravity Training | Frieza Fight | Early Cell Arc | Post-Room of Spirit and Time Training | Majin Buu Arc

Goku has several keys, each being after training or gaining strength boosts (like zenkais)

Sonic (Adventure): Key: Sonic Adventure - Sonic Heroes | Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) - Sonic Battle (Pre-Ultimate Emerl) | Sonic Battle (Post-Ultimate Emerl) - Sonic Advance 3 | Super Sonic

Sonic has a lot of keys covering his strength increases between games, strength increases he gains after a certain fight, and specific transformations

I understand what the key is used for and how it functions, but what I don't understand is how to create the keys under the "Powers and Abilities" section. There, you have different clickable points, such as "Goku base" or "CC Goku," which display the description and abilities of the character at that stage. That's my main issue I don't know how to create something like that.

Oh you're referring to tabbers, basically:

<tabber>
|-|Key 1=
*Ability 1
*Ability 2
*Ability 3
|-|Key 2=
*Ability 1
*Ability 2
*Ability 3
|-|Key 3=
*Ability 1
*Ability 2
*Ability 3
</tabber>

You can do a lot more additions to this, but this is the basics

Go to WIki Management, it has a new form for translation
May I ask about Wiki Management was intended to help review translations? Also, regarding the characters’ powers and abilities for our wiki, should we first open a separate discussion to reach consensus before asking the assistant to translate and verify the accuracy of that non‑English thread into English? Something like that.

no need, you just need to add skills and scans on your blog or sandbox and just make a crt. I don't recommend doing multiple CRT for powers and ability (unless its op haxes like NEP or Non Duality or CM), specially for verses which are not mainstream popular, it can take months if no mod or admin shows up.

It appears they only translate Japanese content and not Chinese. My character’s profile is written in Chinese, and even requests submitted after mine have already been translated, while mine remains overlooked. This does not seem to be a simple backlog issue but rather an intentional decision not to support Chinese.

There’s only one Chinese Translator. https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Message_Wall:IdiosyncraticLawyer
You can message them on their Wiki or forum message wall, their user should be the same.

I’ve already messaged them, and they said they translate Chinese, not Korean, because they saw the character’s profile and thought it looked Korean. I’ve informed them that this is a Chinese character and the text is in Chinese, but they still haven’t replied. I’ll wait another 2–3 days; if they don’t respond by then, I’ll reach out again.

They could be busy so yeah just wait. Although asking them to check an entire profile for translations is somewhat inconceivable. Did you translate the series yourself or use MTL?

I checked the official VS Battle Wiki and confirmed that DeepL is an approved translation tool. However, my experience with DeepL revealed several errors. For instance, it rendered the novel’s term World of Will as “World of Spirit” instead of “World of Will.” Therefore, I opted to rely on a different translation website.

Furthermore, there is only one Chinese translator on our official website, and as a native speaker, he fully understands the language and can immediately discern whether a translation is accurate or not.

We don't allow MTLs here.

I already said I used MTL and it didn’t work, so I translated it myself. I thought I’d made that clear since the machine translation kept getting it wrong.
You still have to get it checked by our Translation Helpers

I'm waiting for that, Since there is only one Chinese translator who likely has a heavy workload reviewing many tasks, I will wait three days before messaging them again to request their review.

How can we solve the problem regarding Chinese translation? The person who can translate Chinese accurately is currently busy with their personal life, and on our website, we no longer have anyone available to translate Chinese. This has become quite a big issue, especially for those working on Chinese novels and characters.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this problem? I have created a Wiki about Chinese characters, and there are Chinese texts that need to be translated and approved. I would appreciate any advice or help regarding this issue.

However, if it's absolutely necessary to wait because there’s only one translator left, I’m willing to wait, even if it takes half a year like that I can endure it. But I would still like to hear any ideas on whether there’s a way to solve this problem.

Thank you.

There is likely no solution for such cases. We are strict about maintaining reliable profiles and content. If a reliable translation is not available, we cannot allow such content here.

Okay, Then I think I can only waiting for that
