You're right for being skeptical even if i disagree, my point is. Unless there is something mentioning or a lore statement that goes against creating endless amounts of SNM clones then its not NLF, imo.

Saying the clones are as strong as the originals means Infinite was always super form tier, which just further reinforces that this Infinite stuff should only refer to the lower end of super forms.

No, it doesn't. Infinite could simply be stronger since he's inside the original Ruby rather than being limited to a prototype that needs a power source.

No, because this is merely a copy of Infinite. It's not the real him, it's an Illusion made by the Phantom Ruby itself, independently.
This copy, like all copies, would be "As Strong as the Original."
Upscaling the Original Infinite.
Which directly conflicts with the fact he was beaten by Base Sonic and the Rookie, but we can work out the kinks of said scaling with more info once the full breadth of this update is explored.

But, who's to say this illusion was made to fight though? If Infinite spawned in Metal to lure in Shadow (that's my assumption right now), that Metal wouldn't have a need for any combat function. Wave the flag to attract the army, in that sense. Same goes for this Infinite. If this Infinite is a creation of the Phantom Ruby, then it'd be stronger than the real Infinite, who used a prototype Phantom Ruby instead.

We never saw stronger illusions than the original, ergo current Infinite got simply stronger.
No idea why this Fandom can accept Sonic getting stronger by sitting still in a jail for six months but Infinite getting stronger by being absorbed by a rock is completely unbelievable.

They tend to ignore a lot of stuff. They brought up the wonder flower beating the phantom ruby because one had a statement by bowser of being able to warp the universe while the other supposedly could only warp a planet (which is only a range feat) but then left out the fact that the dream stone‘s evidence of EE was a single statement of bowser threatening to erase Mario and Luigi compared to Time eater who at a minimum erased an entire universe in seconds

Otherworld Comedy states the Perfect Chaos clones could one-shot base Sonic, and they are shown to match Super Sonic, yet VS Battles still has Perfect Chaos at 2-C. If you're correct, then Chaos should be 1-C to match Super Sonic then, I think.
OG Infinite didn't have the power of the Phantom Ruby, only a prototype. So, I think it makes sense that an Infinite using the actual Phantom Ruby could do things the original couldn't.

This is literally pure headcanon. All that is specifically stated is that this is a Clone of Infinite (Word of God). The only availably known iteration of Infinite to copy is Forces’, given this is very clearly not the bamboozled Infinite from Sonic Channel (Different Appearance from Sonic Channel’s, and Sonic Channel’s Infinite explicitly lacks the Ruby or his powers. This is his “CURRENT” after his demise in Sonic: Forces. We see this when the world is in between-states of Otherworldification that when Infinite is “returned to normal,” he still lacks his powers—Having to steal a new Ruby from Eggman—Before the world completely fixes and he dies once more). And that the clones a Phantom Ruby generates are “as strong as the Original.” (Sonic: Forces).
Any further claims are assumptions.
Unless Nibroc explicitly states this is an empowered duplicate or representative of a current Infinite, that is the only logical conclusion. Not to say your explanation makes no sense or isn’t likely. It’s probable that being the real Ruby gives Infinite more power, considering that Infinite had an inferior copy of the real gem. It’s just that this doesn’t matter because the power of the gem in itself is irrelevant because that doesn’t say how MUCH of that power was utilized/given to this duplicate.
All that can be reasonably assumed is this Infinite = OG Infinite, and that this clone is of Forces’ Infinite. Nothing more, nothing less.

The Otherworldification are "illusions" the same as this one, so you debunk yourself by considering that Infinite a continuation of the original but not this one.
Phantom Ruby illusions are as strong as the original. This Infinite is stronger, ergo Infinite got stronger. That simple. Using Otherworldification works for me since it shows illusions can follow up states past the original's demise.
