What the actual fu- why? Just why? It's obviously, Netflix Anime DMC director loves Lady and give her more screentime than Frante (I call him Fraud + Dante) while they nerf Frante to the ground like hell! I felt cringe at Fanboy Vergil said he will working for Mundus at ending. I thought fodder demon could tank a nuke from USA military but nope. I can't wait to see Mundus is afraid of a nuke and went hiding in somewhere like that in next season 2 after I finished watching New DMC anime. I think I'll give 5/10.
Frante wish he was half as strong as '07 Dante kills demons in his Base mode. Look back at Reboot didn't make Daemo (Emo Dante) look like weak at all.
Daemo would slap Edgelord Lady to the ground and said only cursing words is belong to him!

Lady has special equipment as explained by Deadly Fortune. The military literally got overrun by fodder, not just Redgrave's but the whole planet.
Also, you literally see them getting back up when Nero and Nico arrive while the soldier corpses they were feeding off of are lying around.

MAL doesnt add shows made by americans, hence why castlevania and other shows you may see on netflix of that kind arent either, its need to be japanese made

I seriously doubt Shankar can pull off a Senator Armstrong villain. Not with the ham-fisted writing so far.Demonic Nanomachines
The reason Armstrong was so popular was because he made complaints and criticisms that were actually valid, he pitched (preached if you will) a world where people don't get forced to participate in politician's wars, to name just one of the things he criticized. His pitch wasn't nonsense, his complaints were actually fair, and he was extremely charismatic. You could see how he got the earlier bosses to follow him.
And yet despite this, his recommended solution would have been much worse than the problem. Better yet, the game doesn't spoon-feed you that fact, it allows his pitch to hang in the air with Raiden merely rejecting it without arguing a point. In addition, Armstrong presented himself as a hero for people like Raiden and others who had suffered in war, and this came on the heels of Raiden himself admitting he wasn't a hero, and the game heavily featuring wounded soldiers who suffered in wars they didn't want to be in, complete with a condemnation of all the ongoing violence. In order to know why Armstrong's "solution" was a bad plan, one needed to think of the logical conclusion of his plan and realize for oneself what a hellish world he would have created.
Shankar meanwhile is likely to just have VP guy talk about Christianity, express how much he hates everyone who isn't like himself, talk about America saving the world while he stomps on a non-American baby, and then some licensed track about how religion and America are bad plays in the background. Then Shante's pants fall down and he runs away with his pants at his ankles and everyone laughing at him. This is of course so Lady can come in and punch VP so hard that every US president all the way back to Washington gets a broken jaw while a giant American flag burns behind them all. That's the sort of ham-fisted unsubtle garbage I expect from this guy.

there's another detail worth mentioning. Armstrong's criticisms hold up over time whereas Shankar's are out of date or just plain overexposed. This is because Armstrong criticizes universal issues whereas Shankar criticizes hyper-specific ones. Where Shankar is complaining about the now 20-year-old Iraq war and jumping on an overfilled bandwagon of complaining about the US Southern border, Armstrong is complaining about corrupt politicians, conscription, government lies, war as a national institution, and even all the celebrity gossip news that always seems to overshadow the real news. While both are valid issues, one is a specific point whereas one is a universal one.
In addition, Shankar wants us to see his ham-fisted allegory and agree with him on all points making the show little more than a vehicle for his politics, whereas Armstrong makes valid points, and yet you're supposed to figure out for yourself why he's wrong.

Season 2's poster actually shows Dante with a longer hair and Ivory on his hands, so I guess the season might end up focusing on him and he'll be out of cryo soon, I was thinking it could be Vergil focused but they might share the screen time
But if season 1 thought me something is that Dante can be on every promo material and still not be the focus and fodder to Lady, so...yeah

The thing is... it probably wont. It will be more of what we saw in season 1. Dante will get sidelined again, Lady will be the protagonist alone for at least 2 episodes while Vergil is a Mundus simp or something.
Moreover, like someone said, the fact that season 2 got announced so quickly means they had it done already and barely waited to promote it.
Sadly I will still watch it (curse you DMC for making me such a fanatic), thankfully we can shamelessly powerscale it.
Talking about it, where are all the calcs? We can start posting the profiles with the calcs and make a scaling for the top tiers (Lady is top 3 above most versions of Dante btw)

You can check my lastest calcs, if you go to the beginning of the thread, Emerald (I believe that's their nickname) made 3 calcs, 2 of which I had problems with that weren't dealt with (Admitidelly, not a CGM so my opinion is not that high regarded). There is a final LS feat I want to calc, just seeing how to
