All Purpose Dragon Ball Thread

Hello everyone
I have a question...
I would appreciate your answer

In the Namek saga, when the planet Namek was going to explode, was Goku going to die because of the planet exploding or because he couldn't breathe in space?
There's indications of both, but mostly the latter. Frieza's main stated goal was to destroy the planet so that Goku wouldn't be able to breathe, since Frieza could breathe in space. But it's worth noting that Freiza held back his power a little too much out of fear of getting caught in the planet's explosion. If the explosion was a potential threat to Frieza, then it could've been to Goku as well. On the other hand though, we know Frieza did survive in the end (with medical assistance) so Goku probably would've survived the initial explosion and died from vacuum of space.

No, that was just a lie by frieza, when in reality, he wanted to fight goku, he wasn't really about destroying the planet to get rid of him, this is a big narrative moment later on, so it's 100 percent just an oxygen issue.

Why would Frieza lie about that? When was it revealed that he lied?

If Goku and Beerus had continued to fight, if the Universe was destroyed, would Goku survive the explosion and not survive in space?

Frieza was lying to himself saying he "held back too much" and goku assumed it was because he didn't want to get caught in the planets explosion, but ultimately it was just because of frieza's ego, wanting to fight goku and cement his place as the strongest in the entire universe, he couldn't fathom losing to a saiyan, which ties in to goku's later speech about humbling frieza, goku literally calls frieza out on this that frieza wasn't really about that life, like blowing up the planet instead of settling it with his own strength, he would of had to live with the fact that goku had the upper hand and was possibly stronger than him.

I see the chapter that you're referring to, and while I agree with you that Frieza does want to fight Goku, that doesn't mean he lied about holding back when he fired his first shot. I think that really did happen just as it is said to, but once the planet was doomed to explode anyway, Frieza decided to fight against Goku rather than just hurrying it up and firing a second shot to blow up the planet.

Well the reason he held back too much was because he did want to fight goku, not because of the planet potentially killing him, which frieza doesn't even consider that a possibility for goku himself, so regardless, it was because of outer space, I'm sure we can agree on that.

Well, no, I'll have to disagree with you on that. I'd say the reason he doesn't fire off a second shot to finish off the planet is due to him wanting to fight Goku, as Goku stated. The first shot being a fluke was not shown to be intentional on Frieza's part. If you disagree, that's fine, it's no big deal.

Toyotaro: In the "Superhero" movie, Piccolo becomes Orange Piccolo and Gohan becomes Beast. In that case, you must be wondering who is the strongest among Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, and Broly...

Makino: That's true! There was also a scene where Vegeta beat Goku, so it's even more confusing who is the best.
Toyotaro: As I said before, I wanted to show the balance of power between the five, so I composed it like this. I've never worked this hard on this cover, but I don't think I can spend this much time on a cover again. Also, on the other side is Black Frieza, whose power difference is a concern.
Toyotaro refers to a balance between the five.
We can scale everyone over Gas and Granolad.

I swear outside he's originally eye powers and robot friend I dislike Garnolah, at least Gas has a cool design

Where is this from?

Where is this from?

were they exposed to space vacuum?
Yep, the vacuum of space is colder than normal and i think it is colder than absolute zero, Vegeta was able to resist his bones being frozen to absolute zero, but Trunks and Goten were frozen instantly after leaving the earth and is in the vacuum of space.
