Yup. As long as Shiggy is in the Room, any of Law's slashes will spawn directly on him and he can't regen them because they don't actually do any harm to him.

The infinite growth is independent of regen or damage, so that'd still work by technicality.

However, it looks like Shiggy instantly gets sliced apart the second the fight starts. Meaning this is a stomp?

I mean, unless Law instantly goes for destroying all of Shiggy’s brain, then even a headless Shiggy can use quirks that delete Law instantly.

If Law doesn’t instantly kill Shigaraki via total brain destruction and only cuts his head off or slices his body up, then Shigaraki spawns new body parts (no regen required, he can use his own body control to spawn new body parts irregardless of damage) and nukes the entire Room with an omnidirectional tens of kilometers attack that Law has no way of escaping and dies to.

If Law goes straight for “Room -> Completely destroy my enemies head” then he wins.

If he doesn’t, Shigaraki realizes Law has a scary, sure hit spatial ability and nukes him out of existence with range that Law can’t dodge even with teleport.

Would law just go for that? It's been awhile since I've suffered through OP. But I don't see him trying to insta lobotomy shigaraki. Eitherway I am still heavily leaning towards a mismatch the more I think about it.

I mean, surely this is a huge stomp in Law's favour, right? Unless I've missed something, Tomura just doesn't have many options here. MAYBE getting comically large using his limb spawning thing to outgrow Law's Room could work, but that'd take lasting long enough in the room to do that. Maybe there's an argument for Reactive Evolution being a valid counter to it? Possibly? I dunno. I'd give this to Law.
