Sonic General Discussion Zone Act 1: New Frontiers

Here's my admittedly cringe wish list for this crossover.

1. I want Eggman to be a problem for literally everyone throughout a good portion of this comic run. I would love to see Eggman pull a "Earth isn't yours to conquer" against Darkseid while also trying to gather the chaos emeralds himself which gets him into conflict with the heroes. I also would like to see Eggman pull off one insane thing before he takes the L and inevitably gets sidelined like for example getting a bio data scan of Superman or something before using said data to create his own kryptonite from scratch or finding a way to to sap portions of Flashes speed force energy like gorilla Grodd before using said energy to buff Metal Sonic.

2. That said I still want Darkseid to be the main focus as far as antagonists go so I only want Eggman to completely steal the show once before he gets put in a more minor role for the rest of the story.

3. I want to see a chaos emerald transformation for this Darkseid avatar since I'm curious about what ungodly abomination would be created by mixing the negative power of the chaos emeralds with literally evil incarnate. Although this transformation would have to be Darkseid with six emeralds since I don't think any amount of plot armour is saving the cast if Darkseid gets the anti life equation.

Aside from this I don't want much else as I'm looking forward to the charecter interactions more than the plot.

I'd like to see another main antag from the Sonic side tbh. Eggman fits the bill. Wouldn't want too much DC Wank in the comic since they would probably attempt to scale them similarly anyway.

Also I think the Chaos Emeralds were implied to be either at the same level or above (maybe) the Anti-Life Equation, so I think the cast has a chance.

But at the time, sonic never knew he wasn't really, so he was just up & ready to kill a man, no less a king and be viewed as a villain.

This can maybe be a hint of the crossover being canon for both franchises. DC has had and will definitely have multiverse-scale reboots many times, and for what we know, none of these have affected Sonic's canon. So, an easy way to explain why they haven't shown up is that the multiverse of Sonic is different than the multiverse of DC. It'd be easier to just say "we're from another universe" rather than specifying "we're from a universe in a different multiverse", right? Since they're making that distinction to us, maybe that's why.

Shadow is standoffish and dismissive. He dismissed when he rescued her, and he went to fight Mephiles alone. You seem to create narratives to justify things that happen in the game rather than actually looking at what happened.

We think on the same page of this issue once again...

Shadow at best has non traditional bonds that could be argued as strong as friendship, but aren't classified as that given Shadow's a complicated individual.

Unfortunately, no. Only 5 issues is intensely short, even for a solo-Sonic franchise arc personally.

Unfortunately. Granted Iin fairness, I've also seen a fair share of obnoxiousness in the Sonic fandom as well from this (typically "GG Mario" or something, although it was funny the first time or two).

Me personally, I'm content to turn my brain off and only really start on any wiki-related matters after it's finished.

Free Riders after Shadow Gens is weird, though funnily enough I did have TSR before Forces at one point. Interesting to know Sonic 4 I/II are Post-Superstars...

New Sonic Channel profiles
  • The classic characters have official heights now (Classic Eggman is 140cm)
  • Zavok and Zik are stated to have mastered all martial arts, which Zil combining them with his telekinesis to create a unique one
  • They referred to Rouge as "sexy"
  • Sticks, Tikal, Gamma, Nega and Marine profiles are gone
  • Still on their bullcrap with Shadow being "neutral"

That's not bullcrap, Shadow has always been one who follows his own whims. If he has to be "evil" to fulfill his goals he will be such.

Also let's talk about the new teams. We got Ariem with Silver and Blaze, and we got Chaos with Mephiles and Infinite. Could they all be in CrossWorlds?

Could be, the fact they added Ariem to the teams could suggest an appearance in CrossWorlds. Or, if possible, perhaps she might end up appearing in future titles or the comics at some point.

It's a big if, but it'd be nice.

I think people like Marine and Nega aren't here because of them not having proper models to use.
