People think Ian is this author authority and it just makes me roll my eyes. Now that I think about it
It's more like "Opinion of Not-God"
Bro literally has a move called Bolt of Lightning, like c'mon get seriousWindnic The Windhog arguments are mostly misinformed. Super Sonic has had lightning decades before "Brand Synergy" arguments, & only Speed Force users have lightning for the most part. It's not as "generic" or commonplace as many claim across fiction as a whole.
Personally I like Base=Wind, Super=The entire storm.
People need to stop taking Ian Flynn's words seriously. Honestly, it's just slop what he says. Not going to listen to a single thing unless it actually makes a lick of sense/not trying to write out things that preciously existed.
If I could damage my enemies with fake money, that wouldn't be a bad plan at all.
- You telling me Dummy Rings was just an idea Tails had? Really?
Kinda makes me curious as to how the cast is utilizing it. IMO I see it as a "Warp Rings from Archie" type beat where they can activate them at will.Golden Rings between worlds, which funny enough, is an element from the old Two Worlds lore.
The lightning does feel more generic.People are seriously trying to argue that speed-based aerokinesis is rarer than speed-based lightning. Nah, it's far more common.
scrunkly ahhThis ******* thing (No disrespects for you Ian, but your opinions are quite hilarious)

Don't mess with Sonic fans. They don't even get the character(s).This thing comes from an deleted video from 2016 (after the release of sonic boom/ when it was relevant sonic media) made by some guy who was a college graduate at the time of game design, he completely reboots & completely robs sonic of his personality, making him a completely different character than who he was.
he says this while trying to pass himsefl as sonic fan who "understood" the appeal of sonic (the very first one).
I calc'd that a while back.Is the V. Fragging of the Death Egg MK. II a good supporting feat? Metal Sonic and Eggman completely tank that after being knocked out by Sonic
Oof. Thought it would at least graze Tier 5.
I don't remember Prima guides being unusable. But yes, it is used for the hallway feat in Arabian Nights. It's also supportive evidence for Solaris cosmology wiping (supplementary to Eggman's statements).I have a question. Why are prima guides considered unreliable for powerscaling and is it true that a prima guide is our justification for that hallway in Sonic and the Secret Rings being infinite in size?
I'm wondering since I read the Bowser vs Eggman prediction blog again to see if I missed anything interesting all those months ago and noticed that they dismissed the hallway feat because of its justification being from a prima guide. I also found out that Mario is getting one of the haxes power stars have removed in a crt due to the also being reliant on one of primas guides so it seems like theres a precedent for this both on and off site.
Anyways thats all I just want this clarification so I don't rush into making a crt without knowing the full context.
Looking back at this statement, wouldn't that make him stronger than Black Dragon? You can check it using Google Lens. The important part says "He admires Sonic, the strongest in the world, and always runs around after him."
Thanks. The people over on the power star downgrade thread just said that prima guides were unreliable due to misinformation in them and honestly I should have asked for even more specification before the thread got closed. In any case how much of our scaling would change if the prima guides and arguments around them got nuked?I don't remember Prima guides being unusable. Ig worst case scenario Solaris become 5D instead of 6D (As Eggman wasn't yet aware of White Space when he said Solaris would destroy the very meaning of time itself, though maybe you could argue Eggman was aware of 6D Hypertime if he was confident enough to make a statement about the meaning of time itself), and losing 1 Infinite speed feat out of 2.Thanks. This actually doesn't matter because of Eggman's super-dimensional statements implying Solaris would exist on the level of the verse's hypertime already, which is why we can concretely say Solaris is 6-D. That was tackled in the upgrade thread iircIg worst case scenario Solaris become 5D instead of 6D (As Eggman wasn't yet aware of White Space when he said Solaris would destroy the very meaning of time itself
Firstly, I actually think that Prima statement needs to be removed. It is THE most sus thing out of the Sonic game guides imo.I have a question. Why are prima guides considered unreliable for powerscaling and is it true that a prima guide is our justification for that hallway in Sonic and the Secret Rings being infinite in size?
Ian likes VULNERABLE Sonic? This ******* thing (No disrespects for you Ian, but your opinions are quite hilarious)

The Dragon is sealed away, so no.Looking back at this statement, wouldn't that make him stronger than Black Dragon? Not that I would fully agree with this but it would make the Infinite speed feat in Shuffle consistent
Would the guides change the outcome by any significant margin? I’m curious.I know the people who did the Bowser v Eggman blog. The wanted to equalize the usage of game guides for both because only using them for Sonic would look scummy. So they rejected then for both.
I don't see a reason as to why Prima Guides wouldn't count... that seems weirdI have a question. Why are prima guides considered unreliable for powerscaling and is it true that a prima guide is our justification for that hallway in Sonic and the Secret Rings being infinite in size?

Has to due with multiple misinfo. Just googled it again and many forums give the impression of prima guides being not entirely trust worthy, and as shake says, marioverse is not allowed to use prima.I don't see a reason as to why Prima Guides wouldn't count... that seems weird
To their blog? Not to my knowledge, noWould the guides change the outcome by any significant margin? I’m curious.
base?Only 2-A Sonic and Immeasurble would've.
In NiGHTS we believebase?
Are the walls big and made of metal?Speaking of NiGHTS, Sonic into Dreams has him tossing Dr Robotonic hard enough to smash walls, would that land higher LS than the Tails Skypatrol feats?
BTW, regarding LS stuff, has this been used/calc'd yet?Hey, remember that one LS feat in Rooftop Run in Generations I brought up earlier? Well, the remaster makes this less of a chain reaction as the gears behind the clock can be seen, and it's evident Classic Sonic somehow has the LS to push that large one unless we make further assumptions on how the clock hands would move, so it could be calc material.
not one calced it yet i think... i would if i knew howBTW, regarding LS stuff, has this been used/calc'd yet?
