Marvel G.O.D.S was overhyped a whole bunch of nothing.
While I didn't mind the series, it was admittedly over hyped and ended up adding very little of value to the cosmology or narrative. It was badly written, ill-considered, and boring, and wantonly and haphazardly messed up Al Ewing's meticulous, well-considered, elaborate, and highly constructive work with Marvel comics cosmology for no good reasons.![]()
Excellent work with the page! Also, if anyone wants to take a look, I published the profile of Modok Superior, the clone and successor of the original one.
I must say I've had much more fun reading through his history rather than the original's, considering how the writers have had fun in exploring his character in a more humane and varied way, as well as putting him in different situations, even though quite a number of his appearances have him play the role of generic villain of the week with a generic science-related plan. In this variety I include the several switches from comedy to seriousness, as from time to time they managed to convincingly portray him both as a goofball and a terrifying menace.
They also touched much more on his psychology, always within the limits of a secondary, comic book character. I feel kinda malinconic for him, of all characters, as he is one of the several villains who tried to change the course of their lives and become good, or at least not completely evil or voted to evil. Unfortunately, the tyranny of editorial reasons always bring him back to his evil roots. It still works when well-written, but it's kinda sad (for a fictional character, still) to be doomed to revert to evil after trying a different path.

The original Gwenpool run was brilliant in so many aspects, Modok's comedy was especially on point. I love when he ponders to use the dark web and then he asks himself how to access it. Or again, the scene where he manages the accounts of his society wearing glasses and says that they conceal the fact he's basically talking to himself by making it look like he is recording notes.Excellent work with the page!
I'll say that my favorite MODOK moment where he's fully willing to hire Gwenpool as a sidekick...as soon as she gives her personal information since he can only pay her through direct deposit, not cash.
A good deal of effort was put into fixing M.O.D.O.K's profile, what would be some good matches for him ?Also, if anyone wants to take a look, I published the profile of Modok Superior, the clone and successor of the original one.

Ditto. He was likely in charge for awhile, but the editorial department should long-term honour the sheer enormous brilliance he displayed in tying together and fleshing out the entire Marvel Comics cosmology. Any half-assed retcons that people like Hickman, or less talented than Hickman, will enforce on it, are almost guaranteed to make the structure much worse rather than better.Petition to put Al Ewing in charge of all overarching Marvel cosmology
Well, I DID like what he did with the Eternals, even though Marvel themselves seems like they'd rather forget them again post-movie release...Petition to put Al Ewing in charge of all overarching Marvel cosmology
Wasn't it Kieron Gillen who handled the Eternals? I did not like his storytelling or the quality of the art at all. So far he hasn't hit the minimum 15 appearances necessary to warrant a key.8 Deaths of Spider-Man is ending, so can he get a Covenant of Cyttorak Champion key or not ?
Modok is interesting to apply in a vs context, because he's the kind of character whom the writers like to gift with every sort of power to make him look cool, but must forgot the next issue to avoid making him too difficult to handle.A good deal of effort was put into fixing M.O.D.O.K's profile, what would be some good matches for him ?
Tbh Marvel and DC has a lot of these. Thor is relegated to a flying brick with lightning most of the time, but he's got so much versatility he could make a Green Lantern blush.Modok is interesting to apply in a vs context, because he's the kind of character whom the writers like to gift with every sort of power to make him look cool, but must forgot the next issue to avoid making him too difficult to handle.
Unrestrained by the shackles of narrative and PIS, Modok has the potential to be really powerful, considering his entire arsenal of psychic powers and weapons.
For real, just look at Doctor Strange and his vast arsenal of magic spells and equipment.Tbh Marvel and DC has a lot of these.
Really? Not sure what he has besides elemental attacks.Thor is relegated to a flying brick with lightning most of the time, but he's got so much versatility he could make a Green Lantern blush.
True, but since Spider-Man himself has so many appearances I'd be personally ok with it. Only issue is that I'm not sure what tier he'd be other than probably being vastly above his base.So far he hasn't hit the minimum 15 appearances necessary to warrant a key.
Basically like Doctor Doom and Doctor Strange.Modok is interesting to apply in a vs context, because he's the kind of character whom the writers like to gift with every sort of power to make him look cool, but must forgot the next issue to avoid making him too difficult to handle.
Tbh I was exaggerating (unless we count Thor Force and other keys).Really? Not sure what he has besides elemental attacks.
He scales to the scions of Cyttorak to a degree but not only is this their first appearance so who knows what they are actually capable of, they don't really seem to be that comparable to each other (easily physically beats one and even draws blood from another in base, while another easily shrugs off his magic attacks)True, but since Spider-Man himself has so many appearances I'd be personally ok with it. Only issue is that I'm not sure what tier he'd be other than probably being vastly above his base.
That should almost be the opposite, since characters with a million appearances like him are extremely likely to have alternate forms or power-ups lasting only a handful of issues, to the point that 15 appearances is even extremely short. For how cool he is, I'm not comfortable with breaking our rules in this way.True, but since Spider-Man himself has so many appearances I'd be personally ok with it. Only issue is that I'm not sure what tier he'd be other than probably being vastly above his base.
Honestly a lot of series have quite a few characters like that, Bowser for example is a reality warping super wizard who can imprison an entire landmass within a picture book while bending space and gravity before turning the entire population of said landmass into inanimate objects. and then 9 times outta 10 Nintendo make him a fire ball merchant, he'll just jump around and breath fire.Tbh Marvel and DC has a lot of these. Thor is relegated to a flying brick with lightning most of the time, but he's got so much versatility he could make a Green Lantern blush.
Limbo magic and Dark Dimension magic aren't really related.Question here. Is Limbo magic equal to dark dimension magic, demonic magic or is it's own thing?
NPI was downgraded. The one on Hulk's profile is accurate. Was looking at Hulk and Thor's profiles and noticed they have different non-physical interactions even if both of them can touch souls and energy beings
so Odin and Thor's NPI has to be downgraded?NPI was downgraded. The one on Hulk's profile is accurate.
yeah, that is if they scale to interacting with soulsso Odin and Thor's NPI has to be downgraded?
Did it againMore questions.
In magic weakness it says magic cannot conjure scientific objects, does that apply to teleporting already existing scientific objects?
Is Darkforce and Lightforce magic?
Yes.More questions.

Not sure will check. Is Darkforce and Lightforce magic?
I know that Nico Minoru basically teleported a scientific object to her with a spell so...Not sure about teleporting, it just can't make them
I have been searching about it and I'm not sure. Not sure will check.
By any means it's stated to be an extradimensional power. While many have tried to channel Darkforce energy via technology, magic objects, or mutant abilities, most of its users failed to do so without long-lasting or life-altering consequences
