Mana is the essence for the every being in universe. It is tied directly to a person's being, allowing one to control the life, soul, dimension, physics and magic. Also Mana is fundamental essence/energy of the universe itself, and it's also create data worlds and magical worlds, Mana causes a change to Legerdomain a realm of magic as a change in one of the spells causea changes the shape of Legerdomain.

So is this more like Concept (Unknown Type maybe Type 3 or 2) or Information (Type 2 or 1)

There's seems to be a handful of 'fundamental' entities in fiction that are NOT explicitly stated to be conceptual or informational but has attributes shared with both.

Think there was an attempt at making "Essence Manipulation" a new hax but it was deemed too similar to Conceptual and Info type 2

No, because not many verses have it, and guys is lazy too, there is also an attempt with Logic manip but was not cared until recently, there was also even an attempt at making Abstract Manipulation in the past for manipulating anything that is abstract, not just concept specifically

Yeah, that's true for the conceptual ones since I don't know them personally as much as information manipulation on the other hand where as far as I know it doesn't have to be explicitly stated but atleast it should have some of the qualities that resemblance something of an information. Though, I don't know if Ben 10 has a chance since they were rejected of being information type 2 since data doesn't correlate to information nor if it resemblance information in any way (Just a fundamental data)
