Naruto to Boruto Discussion Thread

@Ghostimuscrime I mean you dont have to agree with the scaling or even thinks it good, its not really relevant because the wiki isnt a homogenized group, every verse has their own supporters with their own CRTs that people are either gonna find convincing or not. thats basically what it boils down too, the reason why 2-C Soul king is a thing and 2-C shibai isnt, is because more Bleach fans agree that the soul king is 2-C than naruto/boruto fans agree that shibai is 2-C. and everyone else thinks their respective arguments are sound, i guarantee you that if you made an argument that everyone here thought was convincing then shibai would be 2-C.

thats not favoritism from the wiki thats just how verses work, and sure some verses have more leniency based on how many supporters/how popular ect it is. for example there are plenty of verses on the wiki that likely get scrutinized significantly less than the big three because of the lack of familiarity and supporters makes it much easier to dupe people into believing stuff, especially if they are not aware of the context ,is there bias from the supporters? absolutely but its not some larger movement of favoritism from the wiki. if you disagree with the scaling your best bet is to get counter arguments people think are valid. (if you have a valid counter to 2-C Bleach and people think its convincing then go for it)

and as for bleach in general, its only really a modern thing that Bleach has gotten tier 4/2 scaling, Bleach alongside naruto was capped at tier 5 godtiers and like island level espanda for a long time with a ton of opponents.

i wish this was the case, I dont mind being rejected and going back to the drawing board to make better arguments
its one of the most fun aspects of powerscaling, but seeing overly downgrade hungry mods, explicitly bad faith arguments, everchanging standards and people refusing to listen to reason for the past 2 weeks just makes me loose motivation to make CRTs at all, I dont think even if I did manage to disprove the opposers and fully destroy their arguments is gonna get their greenlight because they already made up their minds. they simply do not like certain characters getting a certain tier

I had a few CRTs in mind that some people here have agreed with off wiki but I don't wanna publish those as it'll be redundant and lead to the same thing I just described

Heres a tip, focus less on trying to debunk and more on convincing, arguments are only as good as the way they are presented, it doesnt matter how airtight you think it may be if your not conveying that information in a way thats convincing or understandable then its not gonna amount to much, specifically when were talking about more subjective parts like scaling versus just adding abilities. there are plenty examples of wonky arguments passing because the person was able to present it in a way that was easy to logically follow , now im not saying you should just have well presented arguments with no substance or like some people be disingenuous (cough DMC, Cough), those may pass initially but they never tend to last, but what i mean is the methodology in making them should be less trying to prove a science and more about trying to get us to understand why you believe in something.

Well I love bleach for this very reason they are well coordinated and calculated. Even the mid-tier characters are treated with respect in terms of power scaling on the wiki. In contrast, For Naruto you have to battle it out with the so called fans first. The community has its share of divisions, with some fans openly stating that they don’t care about god-tier scalings and even undermining those who do.

Many enthusiasts that were once invested in high-tier (Tier 4 and above) scaling for Naruto have left the wiki. The remaining fans seem to have resigned themselves to Tier 5 interpretations that are handed to them. However, a few individuals, like Lex and Ghost, stand out. They’re like Bleach fans in their unwavering commitment to defending their meta’s no matter the opposition.

I did not mention any name please don’t come for me🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭

multi cont juubito to country level with pitiful large country upscaling
removal of UES so kid naruto and sasuke loose tier 8 stuff
some tier 7s got upgraded to baseline tier 6 and thats like the only notable upgrade that i remember

Back in the day, the majority of the verse was only 7-C to 7-A, and scaling to the Bijuu wasn’t allowed, even for the likes of the Raikage. They are now 7-B to 6-C, even higher in some cases, and they’re gonna get upgraded even further once we make the CRT to deal with the UES stuff.

And speaking of the UES stuff, that’s not even gonna downgrade the Part I cast. There’s upgrades in the works for them too. The size upgrade for the Forest of Death will result in stat upgrades across the verse as well.
