I'm talking about the anime, in the anime it talks about the existence of the demon realm and that speech is very old, so it was retconned.
They'd just be different, to be honest. Toei-Z's Demon Realm was based on the model Toriyama provided, in which it was the "Negative Side" of the Universe. Daima's is the newer one, going over how it's before the creation of the Universes and has in itself three dimensional spaces. It still exists. Just as a seperate thing. Like how Toei-Z has the Galactic Patrol, (mentioned in the Daizenshuu and in the film pamphlet for Tree of Might as one of the origins for one of Turles' men, Nutz), but it isn't the Jaco the Patrolman Galactic Patrol that has the Extinction Bomb.
