Now that Orochi's profile doesn't look like crap anymore I thought it'd be nice to have him fight again

Orochi can perform the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist with all the dragons + horns in his body, not that he wouldn't take damage at all but Yamato would have a really hard time to land her attacks properly

Well, Yamato has Haki, so the problem goes both ways.

I doubt it. Orochi himself is a fighting genius meaning he'd be able to keep pace with her despite her Haki. Yamato would be able to defend herself, but Buso does not grant internal durability. Her insides would still be cut by the Whirlwind Iron Cutting Fist attacks.

Profile says that he can do it, he just hasn't done it yet.

Now as for this, I think Yamato takes this, just barely however. I'm not sure how much higher or how long Gaia takes to charge up, so it may get cut short. Also.. Haki.
Yamato takes this, mid-high diff. ew high hypersonic fodder

According to the versus thread rules, the OP needs to specify that the ability is restricted. Since it's not, he will use it.

Orochi does not need to use the Gaia Cannon. His normal attacks are aready 5.68 Exatons, and he can shoot massive fire blasts without it. Yamato has only been shown to match one fire blast at a time. Against tens she'd be overwhelmed.

Saying Yamato would just "win" without explaining how she gets by Orochi's immortality is not convincing at all.

Well the regeneration isn't an issue since Haki grants Regeneration Negation up to Mid-High

The issue is the immortality since Orochi can keep fighting at near-full strength even while reduced to a chunk of meat.
 
The immortality on this guy is pretty ridiculous. But because of haki, will the haki just keep him at that chunk of meat state due to the regeneration being negated?

Yes, he'd have to remain in that state. Though the question is if Yamato can reduce him to that level. It took this plus further pulverization (his body wasn't completely destroyed afterwards) to do that. Orochi is a fighting genius as well as a martial arts master who also can use the Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist so her attacks won't land like they normally would.

Hmm this seems like an interesting match then. I'll wait for more imput.
 
Quick cut in here: Yamato’s forms cannot be restricted if this fight is meant to be added to profiles. Her Zoan forms are an increase to her stats but not a tier change so she is allowed to use them per rules.

Wait I thought they can be restricted if they are granted a higher tier like how a reaper guy in this forum pointed out that equipment can be restricted if they give a higher tier.
I wouldn't see why transformation wouldn't be restricted.

It doesn't grant Yamato a higher tier tho: 5C in base, 5C in zoan forms.

Not just a higher tier but a seperate tier. They can be in the same tier but as long as the equipment has a different AP indexed by the profile as is the case with Yamato then it can be restricted.

  • It is not fine to restrict abilities in a versus matchup, implicitly or expressly. Matches that are arranged this way should not be added to the character profiles, as they don't involve their full potential, and are only intended for casual entertainment.
    • An exception would be if the restricted ability/technique has a separate tier from the main one, and is one the character can consciously restrict themselves from using. In this case, the match can be added.
    • The match can also be added if Optional Equipment such as optional power-ups and items are restricted, or if the ability being restricted is indexed after a "Likely" or "Possibly" conditional.
Separate tier would mean that her zoan forms would need to have a separate tier from herself. They do not have a separate tier, they are just higher into her tier.
