I still think Shadow should've been in that mod to fight Infinite while Neo Metal fought Sonic. I'm of strong opinion that the Avatar character really just took up space for other more relevant characters all around, tbh.

Yeah it would've been goated if Shadow was in Overclocked, maybe rewrite the plot a little by having Infinite do something that should've been a main focus in Forces and have him getting revenge on Shadow.
It's still a great mod, though, easily the main reason why I even have Sonic Forces on PC outside of the Reimagined mod

In all seriousness, all the “fixes” to the Metal Overlord question that I can think of all have some kind of unfortunate caveat to them. Low 1-C seems to have the least amount of issues as far as I can see, plus it’s kinda like a compromise of some other options.
Personally, I’ll be satisfied with either Low 1-C base cast or 2-C Metal Overlord. Not really fond of the other options.

But yeah, Shadow should've been the focus again Infinite, not the rando ahh Avatar. It felt way more fitting for Shadow than him. That and it would've been really good.
It's still a cool mod, however. I appreciate what they did. It's just missed opportunities that would have went way harder and made more sense that messes me up.

That would go insane, actually. Also it gives somewhat more credence to the whole "Infinite being the strong enemy Sonic's fought period" in that time frame without the "oh they meant base Sonic" thing cuz of the kind of scaling that implies. Not saying it would for sure bring him up to that, it definitely makes it way more believable.

It is, so I don't know why people want to suck it off so badly. They wanted to make an argument for Off-Panel being 1-A or something. I honestly still don't buy into Archie Sonic's one-off and never-used-again plot manipulation, the "i always win" aura, and quite a bit of Archie bull-ish. The glaze just gets really annoying, especially when people try to downplay the games to hell and back while singing the praises of that mid-ahh comic.

The worst part is Post-SGW had potential to be good and some of the Pre-SGW had potential to also be good.
I also hate when people try to debate Archie Sonic as a whole when Post-SGW Archie Sonic is more or less on-level with regular Game Sonic without any of the Pre-Archieisms, yet just combine those two as a whole for a debate. It's like people don't read the damn comics and try to debate with people. It's so fried, bro.
