Pretty sure it was implied that Obito used those drops to ready his Sharingan awakening. Kinda dumb but somehow, it seems it worked. Bro eventually had the coolest and dopest MS hax.
 
Minato fans when they realize the statement where Kurama considered Minato as Hashirama's equal is in regards to sealing jutsu rather than overall combat power:

It's a W for Hashirama if anything. We didn't know if he had Sealing Jutsu (outside of the Deity Gates I guess, if you wanna count them as "sealing Jutsu") prior to this, but now we know it's likely he had Uzumaki tier Fuinjutsu. On the other hand, we kinda always knew Minato had crazy good sealing tbf.

It's more of a W for Minato. The Diety gates and crimson wall formation are the most powerful sealing and barrier jutsus. All the sealing jutsus Minato used were nowhere as powerful as the diety gates. So if Minato is comparable to Hashirama, then it means he has 10 tails level binding jutsu.

Even though we have had Naruto shippuden, that was an anime only thing. this is legit the first time the franchise has had a subtitle for the second part officially in the manga

Ngl I don't get why the Four Crimson Rays Formation is considered an AP feat for Hashi when it's 4 ppl and sealing and just durability not AP

In the past, I explained it away as, “Hashirama’s Chakra is strong enough to Seal and Suppress the Juubi, as showcased by the Gates and Seal Head, and we do know to a large degree, the Strength of the User Plays a part in whether or not they can seal or restrain a target w/ Fuuinjutsu, as Targets have no selled or resisted Sealing Jutsu Before based on their strength (KCM Naruto, Madara, Juubito, Kurama). So the prevailing Theory is the FCRF is Primarily strengthened by Hashirama’s SM, given he is Restraining Juubi and thus, it’s strength would scale to SM Hashirama’s Chakra Strength.”

Now, I’m not “attached” to that theory anymore, so if y’all disagree, that’s cool.
 
Question: So how do we handle the Ninja Tools Summons Databook Entry giving Sasuke and Itachi Lightning Speed Combat Speed and Zetsu's "1/1000th of a Second Can't be evaded" statement WITHOUT Copium?

At first I was thinking, that because Zetsu refers to "evasion", that it only affects Travel Speed, but the context of his statement is about the "Speed of Lightning" in general, so it really does contradict the databook statement.
 
Kirin has like 3 LS statements at this point unironically lmao

So it clear it not just a one time hyperbole

You can just say Kirin itself is LS but Zetsu was talking about the speed of lightning in general in the naruto universe for the audience ( which is like 2-3x faster than IRL Lightning iirc? )

Iirc when I had someone(I think it was Arc?) translate the ninja tool statement it was unusable for scaling.

Zetsus statement refers to natural lightning not Kirin itself. It’s an assumption he makes when hearing that Sasuke wants to use Natural lightning. We even see that he’s surprised at what it can actually do showing he didn’t have as clear of an understanding of the jutsu as he initially thought with his assumption.

Not to mention that interpretation is kinda contradicted by earlier statements and feats by characters being capable of reacting to lightning or moving faster than lightning.

Also Kirin contains far more energy than a regular lightning bolt ever could and still is infused with some level of chakra for Sasuke to direct it.

Where as the two light speed databook statement is pretty blatantly meant to be literal.

Even on a narrative lvl Kirin is meant to be something impossibly fast at that stage of the story yet we’re given many indications throughout the story that lightning speed isn’t that uncommon for even Jounin lvl fighters.

I translated the lightning tool statement too and I'm pretty sure it was fairly literal and even has like a parenthesis around the word lightning.
