Characters in this verse are stated to naturally resist powers in general, would this mean they would resistance to all the powers showcased in the verse?

context is important, what is "powers" in this case, if it what they call their abilities/hax, then yeah i think so

These are the quotes;
Spiritual power was completely different. It was a power that could be directly controlled by the spirit of a cultivator. It was a power that could only be obtained after cultivation. It was a derivative of blood and vitality that communicated with Heaven and Earth. It was very malleable, unlike blood and vitality that could only strengthen the body and reject other powers.
Power… Power was a kind of ability, power was knowledge, and power was a realm.

the first quote does seem like talking about resistances, but the second quote is weird

it says power is A ability and A realm, it kinda sounds like it is refering to a specific thing instead of all abilities

It's a Cultivation Novel so realm in this case is referring to levels of power basically. Basically, the requirement to use abilities in this world is to reach a certain level of power and know how to use sed power.

Cultivation requires wisdom and knowledge. How to use one's strength also requires knowledge!
"But regardless of whether it is divine arts or magical techniques, if you want to use them well, you need knowledge. A lot of knowledge."

hmm, well i guess if every ability from the verse comes from the "power realm", then yeah, though i'd assume abilities that somehow come from something else, those would be excluded

This is slowly looking less like resistance and more like personal inability to use magic.

Ya sorry about how scattered it is, I'll organize it;

For example, blood and spiritual power. Blood and vitality were powers born from the source of life. Cultivators would consume blood and vitality to guide the Heaven and Earth's Qi into their bodies to deepen their cultivation and reduce their lifespan.
^So here the MC had just unlocked Spiritual Power and had originally been using his Blood and Vitality as a source of power but it reduces one's lifespan, supported by the second quote.
Power… Power was a kind of ability, power was knowledge, and power was a realm.
"But regardless of whether it is divine arts or magical techniques, if you want to use them well, you need knowledge. A lot of knowledge."
^Here he basically came to an enlightenment of what power truly was, supported by that second quote.
