Characters with this ability may be able to resist enormous amounts of pain, act even when unconscious or well beyond what they should be able to endure, resist possession and mind control, affect their environment, or even go against natural phenomena, such as death or the limits imposed by reality.

The resistance is barely on its feet to fight, so there goes specialists in fields regarding elementals, and I should note those that WOULD be capable of that kind of illusion and mind control don't even know the Resistance really exists and are too damn overconfident to make such a master play

Everything else is fine, but the Backstory is a no for right now

Could happen later in the story

You'd think that illusion ability entities would be pretty sneaky and clever in their utilization of their abilities

By the way, the illusions I plan on using are not mind-based but light-based. Hence why I asked if I could make a light elemental

The Resistance was getting on its feet and preparing for those 2 months since the Cataclysm, their military is barely up

In this case they think they've already won and whatever scraps can't do shit.

Eh, I'd prefer to keep those kinds of illusions to an apsolute minimum if i can TBH

Ah, that's what you meant. Alright, I'll try and cut back on the bodily modifications but I would assume some stereotypical spells from fantasy tropes would be present so I'll try and stick to those.

Also holy shit, the elementals wiped out the world's military in just 2 months despite being juiced up with magic?

The Cataclysm itself took out most major cities on the planet, unfortunately being 9-A doesn't mean much when your country has been wiped off the earth, into literal fissures for some unlucky sods- like a large part of France for example

Honestly the only countries that even kinda survived are Australia, the US, and the UK, and even they are in complete shambles(There are like, 15 million people left worldwide and at least half of those are on the wrong side) and whatever they can bring, they're sending to the resistance.

Everything else has been wiped out thoroughly or didn't have enough left to put up a real fight if they, like what remained of China and Russia

Now don't get me wrong, people from those areas still exist and shit, but their numbers are very limited
